My heart stops when I see the pink haired boy standing behind the counter. His full lips, smooth skin, angelic voice- everything about him made me think that I had to have him|
It's been a week- why am I still thinking about the boy from the cafe. My curiosity only seems to grow over time. I need to get his number.
I can't believe I'm actually chasing after a waiter as I get in my car and drive to Kim's Cafe.
I stay in the driver's seat for a second thinking about what the actual hell I'm doing. First of all, he might not even be working right now. And second, even if he is, he won't remember me.
Yet the human mind works in strange ways and I find myself stepping into the dimly lit cafe, eyes searching for the short boy that seems to have taken over my mind.
I find Jimin taking orders at the counter, so I stand in line, ignoring the way my heart skips a beat. He's dressed in a white button down today. I notice the way he smiles brightly at every customer.
"Good Morning! What can I get you?" He asks when I'm finally at the front.
I haven't thought this far into my plan...
"Uh- what's your best speciality coffee?" I ask, thankfully not saying something stupid.
"Well I don't drink coffee, but the Carmel macchiato is our most popular."
"Then what's your favorite drink?" I ask, just wanting to hear him talk more. He truly does sound like an angel.
"Uhm," he thinks for a bit. "The peppermint hot chocolate is probably my favorite. Oh! The Strawberry Milk is really good too, but it's a little too cold for that."
"Ok I'll take the Peppermint hot chocolate then," I smile.
"Anything else?" Jimin asks, putting in my order.
"Your number," I say smoothly.
"W-what-?" He asks with wide eyes.
He looks so cute, I swear my heart could explode. "You heard me."
"B-but your b-boyfriend?" He stutters in shock.
Now it's my turn to be surprised. "What boyfriend?"
"You were here a couple days ago with your boyfriend, right?" He says, anxiously looking at the people behind me who we're beginning to get frustrated.
"Oh Hoseok's not my boyfriend," I laugh, blushing at the fact that he had remembered me.
"Oh," he says simply. "Can I get a name for the order?"
"Yoongi," I say.
I wait for him to say something else but he just types in my name and tells me to pick up my drink at the other counter.
I hide my disappointment as I say thank you and head over to the pick up line.
I watch Jimin talk to the other customers until I hear my name being called. I get my hot chocolate and stuff the receipt into my pocket, realizing that I don't even like peppermint.
I sadly drive back home, deciding to never talk about the events that occurred today.
People expect me, as a romance author, to have the most exciting love life. But that's not even close to true. I can't even get a boy's number.
I sigh, taking a sip from the paper holiday colored cup. I'll admit, it isn't too bad, but I wouldn't be drinking it if Jimin hadn't said it's his favorite.
When I get home, I throw out the cup and change into something comfier so I can sit on my couch and grieve for my dead love life.

If this isn't me I don't know what is :/
I was thinking of the Run episode where they were all baristas while writing this and poor Tae having to drink coffee even though he doesn't like it :((
