Chapter 52 ~ Heart Beats

"Krithi listen, only if you leave us now, we can get you a baby!" Shivaay said not realizing someone else heard his words.
"Oh my mata, really?" Pinky asked in exuberance not able to believe what she just heard.
"Mom!" Shivaay groaned.
"Ma!" Anika exclaimed quite tensed.

"Anu, I want a granddaughter! With khanji aankhe." Pinky said imagining her grandchild twinkling with bluish grey orbs.
"Dadi, I want two babies now to play with." Krithi said losing her patience as Shivaay wasn't giving her a baby right away.
"Why are you increasing the number Krithi?!" Shivaay asked shocked.

Anika shot deathly glares at Shivaay, while he was helpless.
"Krithi beta, your billu uncle will get you babies to play with very soon! But now let's leave them and go!" saying Pinky left with Krithi.
"Fulfill her demand soon Shivaay!" Pinky said turning back to her son as she left from there.
"Shivaay seriously you are a billu!" Anika said and left, while Shivaay mentally cursed himself for creating such a big mess because of his so called deal.

Om and Rudra joined Shivaay in the lawn that night. The trio were really upset with their own personal matters, one about babies, one about spoilt romance and the other about a petty fight with his best friend.

Karthik and Arnav joined their club as well making it a boys meet that night. Similarly, the girls met in Khushi's room. And soon, each of them spent their time complaining about their partners.

Next day ~

Mehendi preparations were going on and all the elders were busy with their own set of tasks.

Krithi was literally behind Shivaay for a baby to play with while he tried his best to escape from her. All of a sudden he entered one room and thankfully found no one there. He laid on the bed a bit relaxed as he saw Krithi going farther away from where he was.

All of a sudden, the bathroom door opened and Shivaay was shocked and so was the girl who came out of it.

Gauri felt guilty for ruining their romantic moment, so she confronted him but he doesn't speak a word.

"Jatadhari?! I'm sorry." Gauri apologized her voice filled with guilt but no response from the other side.
"Will you just speak up Om?! I'm waiting to hear you!" Gauri almost hollered impatiently. Not replying to her, Om turned away to go when Gauri pulled him back towards her and locked him in a passionate kiss.

Parting due to lack of oxygen,"Om? At least now would you speak up?!" Gauri asked when he smirked, " Interest on yesterday's romance! I need more" leaving Gauri shocked.

Rudra like a good boy apologized to Saumya.

"Good that you apologized!" Saumya said with much pride.
"I couldn't bear your silence yaar! I literally felt insane." Rudra blurted out surprising Saumya.

The girl who came out from the bathroom was in a bathrobe but even then, Shivaay and the girl shouted together "Aaaaahhh"

"Shivaay?! What the hell are you doing here?" She roared hiding behind another door.
"Fhat the wuck! Don't shout Anika. Why the hell didn't you lock the door?" Shivaay asked back.

They both were in a serious argument that Anika didn't realize that she wasn't hiding anymore. Soon she tripped and fell on Shivaay resulting them on the bed.

Her wet hair touching his face, their hot breaths passing current all over their bodies, their heart beats loud enough to be heard. Their eyes were in lock until they heard footsteps approaching towards the room. They soon ran into the bathroom and hid themselves to avoid much embarrassment.

Shivaay heard Krithi calling him from outside the bathroom, and so Shivaay tightened the lock of the bathroom unknowingly.

"Shivaay what the hell are you doing with the lock?!" Anika asked noticing his actions.
"Ssshhhh Anika! Krithi is outside." saying he cupped her mouth, slowly pinning her against the wall not realizing their proximity.

By mistake, the shower button got pressed and soon they both get wet as well. They did try offing it but it didn't turn off very soon, so they were completely drenched.

No longer hearing Krithi, "Shivaay! Open the door." Anika said waiting patiently while he tried opening the door.
"Err... Anika! I think the door got jammed." Shivaay said avoiding eye contact with her.

"Shivaay! Now how the hell will we get out of here?" Anika asked controlling her anger.
They tried even harder to open the door but their efforts were completely in vain.

"How will I attend Bhai's mehendi now?! There's no chance of getting out of here!" Anika spoke her voice filled with disappointment.
"Anika don't worry! Listen we'll find out a way!" Shivaay said slowly caressing her face but soon it turned out to be a...
