Chapter 45 ~ Prince and Princess

Anika's brothers-in-law were just so shocked hearing her while Shivaay fell silent.

"Bhabhi is everything fine?! Why will you miss our love!? You will always be with us right!" Rudra asked confused.
"I might go to US for a while Rudy. I was just thinking about that and I told I will miss this love from you all." Anika said covering up.

Rudra hugged his bhabhi tightly to which she reciprocated.
"Never leave me and go bhabhi! Only you support me in everything!" he pouted. Om wasn't satisfied with his bhabhi's answer as he noticed his brother's guilt for something that he had done.

Just as they left, Anika saw her phone receiving a video call from her brother.
"Princess! It's been half an hour. I know you would be busy with your husband but I'm your brother too! You will always be with him only. Why didn't you pick my calls?!" Arnav asked pouting.
"Bhai, everyone came to wish me!That's why. I'm sorry" Anika apologized in a low tone.

"Happy Happy Happiest Birthday Jaan!" Her parents popped into the screen wishing her. She was enjoying her call with her family trying to forget the bitter incidents that happened with Shivaay a while ago. On the other side, Shivaay was not able to forgive himself for all that he did.

Shivaay entered the room a while later to see Anika asleep on the couch. He gently picked her up and placed her on the bed covering her up with a blanket. He caressing her face uttered, "Sorry Anika!"

He took his side of the bed very soon and slipped off to sleep when Anika turned to his side staring at him.

Anika's inner voice,"What's happening to me?! Why am I crying when we decided on divorce? Billuji is fine with this, so even I must be fine with it right?!

I have got used to this family so much, that's why this is happening to me. I must stay strong."

Next morning as Shivaay woke up, he didn't find Anika next to him. He searched everywhere in the house but she wasn't found, so he excused himself from his family stating that he had to pick Anika from the temple and left. She didn't even pick up his calls making him more tensed.

At last his call was picked up by someone.
"Hello hello Anika!?" Shivaay called out relieved.
"Sir, I'm Khanna. Anika ma'am left her phone in the car." Khanna said.
"Give the phone to your ma'am!" Shivaay ordered to which Khanna said,"Sir ma'am is in the orphanage. She told me not to wait. So I'm coming back to Oberoi mansion!"

Orphanage,

Anika was busy playing with the kids, blindfolded so as to catch them. As he reached, Shivaay felt thankful to God seeing her. She was happily playing like a kid herself when she accidentally stepped on her saree and was about to fall but a strong pair of hands caught her.

"Billuji! Aap?" Anika asked a bit shocked as she removed her blindfold. The kids started laughing all over hearing "Billu".

"Hi billu jiju!" Diya greeted while he picked her up in his arms greeting her back "Hi Diya!"
"Are you taking care of our di well?" Diya asked demanding a positive reply.
"Of course! Like a princess Diya bachha." Anika answered while Shivaay admired his beautiful wife.

"That's great! How is my billi di looking after you jiju?!" Diya asked Shivaay again to which everyone started laughing including Shivaay.

"Like a Prince!" Shivaay managed to say when Anika locked her eyes with his.

"Yay! I'm so happy. My billi di is princess and billu jiju is prince." saying Diya chuckled.

By then she got down and started running as Anika started to chase the kid for calling her billi. Following her, the other kids were also running here and there. Shivaay was standing there adoring them when suddenly, Diya fell down and started crying badly.

"Diya! Bachha nothing happened. Please don't cry! Krishna bring the first-aid box" hollered Anika to the caretaker.

Slowly bandaging the little girl's hurt, Anika had tears in her eyes.
"Di! It's so small only! It will go off in a while." Diya said assuring Anika that she is fine by controlling her pain.
"I know you are my strong girl! But it will hurt na." Anika said.

"Not than what God did! He kept my parents with him." Diya said hurt felt in her voice.

"But I'm happy I got my di!" Diya continued giving one of her brightest smiles.

Anika hugged her tightly while Diya reciprocated. Telling Shivaay to bend down, she planted kisses on Anika and Shivaay's cheek, them bending on either of her side.

"I got the best Didi and Jiju!" saying Diya flunged her hands around them huggin while Shivaay and Anika looked at each other involuntarily.
