Chapter 69 ~
The feel of your touch

Anika convinced her family that she would make everything right while they left back reluctantly.

That night, Shivaay and Anika were busy working on their laptops when Anika got a call from Stevens, Senior Zonal Manager of Levi's.

"Hey Stevens!" Anika greeted while Shivaay was curious to listen. He couldn't hear the other side when Anika replied after a minute or two, "Is it not possible without me?"
Once again after a pause she spoke, "Okay then! Thanks"

She just hung the call when Shivaay sprang up to her.
"Anika what is it?" He asked as he couldn't anticipate anymore. Anika was about to say something when they heard Ragini's voice from outside.

When she entered, she saw Anika busy with her laptop while Shivaay wasn't seen as he escaped to the pool side.

"Anika where's Shivaay?" Ragini asked when Anika spoke sarcastically, "In my pocket Ragini!" Continuing, "How the hell will I know?!"
"Okay fine! Pack your bags and leave the room." Ragini hollered when Anika hollered as well, "Why will I leave my room!? You get out."
"This is my room because Shivaay is my to be husband and the father of my child!" She growled at her.

"Ragini?! What's all this?" Shivaay asked from behind clenching his fists to control his anger.
"Shivaay tell her to get out of our room!" Anika said losing her temper.
"Seriously our room Anika?" Shivaay asked winking at her secretly when she was not really in a mood to fake fight.
"Shivaay then you get out with this Nagini! This is my room." Anika spat sitting back on the bed.

Shivaay as well as Ragini, both were shocked seeing Anika talk like that. Just then Dadi entered to Shivaay's dismay.

"This is my bahu's room. If anyone wants to leave they can! But she will stay here only." Dadi said glaring at Shivaay and Ragini. Ragini dragged Shivaay and left from there.

"Anika puttar! I don't know what is wrong with my billu!" Dadi said tears brimming her eyes.
"Dadi please take back your tears." Anika said hugging Dadi when she nodded sighing.

"Puttar tomorrow is Ganesh Chathurthi and I want you and OmRu to bring the idol to our house!" Dadi said when Anika asked, "But Dadi Shivaay does it with OmRu na!?"
"It was like that before but it should be like this now!" She told sternly.

"Dadi one request from my side, please for this time you can let Shivaay do this! Please?" Anika asked thinking about Shivaay who will feel bad if he got to know this.
"But..." Dadi was to say something when Anika said, "Just for my sake?!" To which Dadi accepted reluctantly.

On the other side,
"Shivaay you have to sleep here in this room with me!" Ragini said when Shivaay almost shouted, "No way! I can't stay here a minute more."
"If you don't then I will tell your family about your divorce drama." she said smirking evilly.
"You can't blackmail Shivaay Singh Oberoi! My family will not believe you." he roared when Ragini said, "Okay they won't believe me but they will believe this right?!"

Saying she showed a video recording of him speaking about the divorce drama to her. Shivaay wanted to kill her right at that moment but stopped himself.

"So I just want you to silently sleep here! You should be glad that I didn't tell you sleep with me on the bed!" She said when Shivaay settled himself in a nearby couch without talking to her anymore.

It was around 1.00 A.M that night, Anika was not really in her sleep. She was quite disturbed when she saw a shadow behind the curtains. She was about to on the lights when the shadow pounced onto her cupping her mouth.

She freed herself and said, "Shivaay you have gone mad!"
"Anika you know it's me?!" Shivaay asks back surprised.
"I know the feel of your touch!" She said later realizing what she told.
"Really?!" asked back Shivaay smirking in the dark. He no more spoke instead he pulled Anika towards him holding her by her waist.

Anika placing her hands on his shoulders said, "I'm sorry Shivaay! I shouted at you a while back but then I really lost temper! There's a limit and Ragini crossed hers." she finished when Shivaay said, "Anika please don't say sorry! It's completely alright."

The clouds uncovered the moon in the sky and as usual the moon started showing back its charm. Shivaay locked his eyes with hers, their intimacy raising. Very soon their lips touched each others' and in minutes it turned into a beautiful passionate lip lock.

Shivaay and Anika part realizing their proximity. Silence was overflowing in the room when Shivaay broke it saying the incident with Ragini while Anika was shocked.

"How the hell can that Nagini blackmail you Shivaay?!" She asked back irked when he chuckled, "Nagini?!"
"Of course she is! Trying to steal my husband from me!" She huffed in anger when Shivaay spoke in a teasing tone, "You are possessive Anika!"
"N-no I'm not!" She stuttered.

"I don't want to sleep in that Nagini's room!" He pouted saying when Anika laughed in response. Remembering something, she spoke "Shivaay I have to go to San Francisco for a week maybe!"
"Fhat the wuck!" Shivaay almost hollered not pleased at all.

"I mean why for a week?!" Shivaay asked calming himself.
"You don't want me to go?" She asked hoping for an answer she wanted to hear when he said, "No Anika, our careers are very important! Please go but come back as soon as possible! I can't stay without you."
He finished when Anika was surprised to hear what he said. He continued after his late realization, "I can't deal Nagini without you!"
"Okay okay! I will" she said back laughing.
