Chapter 53 ~ ShivIka

"Anika don't worry! Listen we'll find out a way!" Shivaay said slowly caressing her face and soon pecked her lips to calm her down. Suddenly they heard sounds from the other side of the door much to their surprise.

"Di, are you still inside?" Gauri asked. Anika was super scared as Shivaay was with her and moreover she was still in her bathrobe.
"Ha Chutki!" Anika said not knowing what to do.
"Di open the door! I can't find my bracelet. I will just check if it has fallen anywhere inside." Gauri said making Anika even more tensed.

"Chutki there's no bracelet here!" Anika said praying that she would go away from there but suddenly Shivaay sneezed hard shocking the girls.
"Di! Who was that?! What's happening inside? Open the door." Gauri asked questions continuously.
"Noth-nothing Chutki! I just sneezed. And moreover the door is not opening." Anika confessed half the truth.

"What?! Okay wait I will try opening the door!" Gauri said when she heard two shouts, "NO"
"Di what happened to your voice? I just heard someone else's voice as well!" Gauri asked her even more shocked.
"You would have heard an echo! And moreover my voice isn't sounding so good." Anika said hitting her husband who was trying to run away from her.
"Okay! Let me try opening the door" saying Gauri started working hard on the door.

Anika couldn't take the tension anymore. She hid her face in Shivaay's arms and held his shirt tightly, while he swung his hands around her back.
"Di the door is almost opening! Let me get something to open it completely." saying Gauri left. In the meantime, Shivaay with all his strength opened the door. Both of them thanked God and he escaped from there.

Gauri came back to see her sister already in the room, she wondered how she came out.
"Di I didn't open the door completely! How did you come out?" Gauri asked still wondering.
"Your sister is strong enough to open that door Chutki!" Anika said laughing lightly.
"Oh really?! Okay I accept you opened the door but you just said your voice wasn't sounding good. It's absolutely fine right?!" Gauri asked raising one of her brows.
Anika fake coughing, said back "Chutki aren't we getting late for the mehendi function? I need to get ready also!"

Another room,

Rudra was trying to make up his hair but he miserably failed every single time.

"Damn!" Rudra almost hollered.
"Rudra! Why are you so upset?" Saumya asked as she entered.
"Somu yaar! What should I say? I have done my hair 1000 times but I'm not able to make it up!" Rudra sat down exhausted.

He was still groaning over petty things when she took out some gel, and perfectly applied it on his hair. They were sharing a cute moment when Shivaay entered all wet.

"Sorry to disturb you guys!" Shivaay said turning to the other side.
"Bhaiyya, that's my dialogue always!" Rudra said fake crying.
"Okay see you at the mehendi Rudra. Bye bhaiyya" saying Saumya ran away slightly embarrased.

Rudra starting smiling, not the normal one but consider it the teasing one.
"What Rudra?!" Shivaay asked rolling his eyes.
"Beeghi Beeghi Billu!" Rudra stated.
"Okay! Stop teasing me. Let me change my dress, else I will catch cold" said Shivaay.

Anika was busy getting ready for the function when Shivaay entered the room hiding something behind.

"Hey Anika!" Shivaay greeted a bit weirdly.
"Hi Shivaay! Aren't you ready for the function yet?!" Anika asked curiously.
"It wouldn't take much time for me! Why didn't you get ready?" Shivaay asked back still nervous.

"Gauri just left! She was seriously a detective. She kept asking me so many questions! I will have to get ready now." Anika said sighing.
"Would you mind this?" Shivaay asked showing a gift well packed.

She opened it to see the same bottle green saree she loved the other day in the shopping mall. Her eyes twinkling, "Shivaay! I-I...Thank you, thank you so much! But someone actually bought this right? And there was only one piece of this. Then how did you manage to get this?" Anika asked wondering.
"Who am I? The world famous fashion designer's husband." Shivaay said laughing a bit but later realized what he addressed himself.
"My husband Shivaay Singh Oberoi can do anything. There's nothing he cannot do right?!" Anika asked smiling at him.

Soon Shivaay got ready and came out from his room to see Anika coming from her room wearing the saree he gifted her. The moment just freezed as he just couldn't take his eyes off her.

Mehendi started,

OmRu and Karthik were standing to one side while Arnav was staring at his love who was enjoying her mehendi ritual.

All of a sudden their views shifted to the beautiful couple "SHIVIKA" descending down the stairs.
