The wedding planning was in full swing. I sat by myself and watched Claire and Harry pose for pictures. I felt a twinge of jealousy but I quickly pushed it down. That night in New York didn’t matter anymore. It was a mistake, as much as I hated to admit it. I needed to move on. Louis came and sat down next to me.Liam had left a few days before and Louis had come out in his place. I was surprised to find myself a little teary when Liam left. Liam and I had become friends fast and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do the same with Louis.

I shouldn’t have worried. As soon as Louis stepped off the plane he was making me laugh and he hadn’t stopped since. He had admitted to me that he hated Claire and he would do anything he could to annoy her.

“Emma I’m bored!” He said, “Let’s go get coffee.”

“In this heat?” I asked, fanning my face.

“It’s not that bad.”

“I have to interview Harry and Claire.” Louis rolled his eyes.

“Please!” He pouted. I hesitated, “You can interview me instead.”

“Why not?” I said. Louis cheered and stood up.

“Race you to the car!” he yelled taking off.

“Not fair!” I yelled as I raced to catch up.

-

“3 words to describe yourself.” I said, clicking open my pen.

“Fan-” Louis put up a finger for each word. “Fucking- Tastic.” I smiled.

“I think that’s one word.”

“Dammit!” I giggled and Louis took a long drink of his coffee.

“Fine how about, sexiest man ever?”

“That works.” I said, writing it down. “Okay, favorite sport?”

“Football, duh.”

“Sassy today aren’t we?” I remarked. Louis put a hand to his heart and pretended to be shocked.

“I am not!” he protested.

“Okay, so you have to share your best man duties with three other guys do you have separate jobs or does one person handle all of it?”

“Ha! You said duties!” Louis laughed. I rolled my eyes.

“Louis Tomlinson, most immature celebrity ever everybody.” I said gesturing to him.

“But seriously, Liam handles most of it and tells the rest of us what to do. He’s always been the responsible one and I hate Claire so doing anything for her makes me sick.”

“Would you say she makes Harry happy?”

“Harry’s too good for her. It’s practically charity that he’s marrying her!”

“Who would be good for him?” I couldn’t stop asking questions I didn’t want the answers to.

“I think we both know who.” Louis said, winking at me. Before I could ask what he meant he stood up and threw his coffee into the garbage. He was halfway out the door when he turned back and looked at me.

“Are you coming?” He asked.
