Being on a 4.5 grade point average was not the easiest thing to do as a final year student of Aeronautical Engineering, but I made it work.

It was also particularly hard since I was the only female in a class of 23 students, egoistic men who felt they knew it all, and constantly tried to put me down saying things like 'This is a guy's major' 'Why didn't you study Nursing or Creative Writing or something'.

Buffoons.

Except one guy, Drew. He was the only sensible one out of the bunch. And he was constantly asking me out, I didn't know how else to convince him that I wasn't single, and was in a committed relationship.

'Okay, how about just a friendly date, we can go get some food and hang out at a noraebang (karaoke).' he offered for the third time this week. I exhaled slowly, just a friendly date right.

'Okay.' I said and he grinned so wide, his white teeth glowing under the fluorescent lights and green eyes glowing.

'So this Friday?' he asked and I nodded. I could see the hazel in his eyes clearly.

'You have really nice eyes Drew.' I complimented absentmindedly. He was the first black guy I'd met that had green eyes, I'd seen grey and brown but never green.

I cradled my food pregnancy and licked my lips staring lovingly at the empty bowl of jajjangmyeon I had just devoured, I was craving something more. My teeth were about to chomp down on an innocent banana when I heard my phone ring.

I picked it up and saw a Facetime call from 'Mine <3', and my mouth almost split open from smiling. Xukun and I had been dating for almost three years now, but I still got tingles from just hearing his voice or seeing his face.

'Hey sweetie.' I said picking up the video call. 'My love.' he smiled sweetly giving me a finger heart. I laughed before noticing that where he stood looked awfully familiar.

'Is that my door number?' I asked him after seeing the No. 9 behind his head. He nodded and I rolled my eyes.

'I'm actually outside your apartment, but I was too lazy to knock so I called.' He said pouting and I shook my head and went to open the door.

'Really baby?' I asked, my arms akimbo as he engulfed me in a warm embrace. 'I missed you so much baobei (baby).' he whispered before taking my plump lips into his as we got lost in a passionate kiss.

'C'mon let's go inside.' I mumbled against his lips pulling him in.

He let out a loud gasp on seeing the huge empty bowl.

'Hadassah! Did you really eat this giant bowl of jajjangmyeon without calling me??' he asked dumbfounded.

'How was I supposed to know you were coming Kunnie?' I said picking up my banana from where I left it.

'I'm hungry.' he said, going through my fridge.

'I always know that all I'll see in this fridge is fruits and veggies, but I still keep opening it hoping to find some surprise food or greasy food in it. Baobei, I want chicken.' he whined holding unto my waist while I ate my banana.

'Order in then.'

'So baby, I bought some tickets for us to go to Jeju Island this weekend, I know how much you've been wanting to visit there. So we could leave on Friday and be back on Monday. how does that sound?' he said and I screamed and jumped on him happily.
