It had been five days, four hours, thirty five minutes and twelve seconds since she last saw Hawoon. Craving his presence, she clutched tightly onto the red sweater she wore. It was a birthday present from last year. She asked why he got red, of all colors, it was neither of their favorite colors.
"It symbolizes blood, and my heart pumps blood, and it beats for you as well." He'd said. Cheesy little fucker.
She smiled gently. Maleesa laid down on their bed singing a slow tune she'd heard Hoseok play while he worked a few days ago in the study room of their shared apartment.
She exhaled slowly, counting the seconds that ticked on the clock.
"It's time." She finally said, getting off their bed and dusting the imaginary dirt off her thighs as she made her way to the study room.
The woman laid down making a straight vertical line with her body, as she clutched the knife. The same knife she'd used to slit Hawoon's neck five days ago.
"Now we would be together forever." She muttered as she slit her throat slowly, gurgling blood. She took a look at his slowly rotting body before entwining their fingers together as she took her last breath.
