The soft pellets of rain hit my skin as I jogged slowly, palms covering my face to shield my glasses from getting stained with raindrops, though it proved futile.

My apartment was six minutes away, and I was sure I could make it before the rain fell harder.

'Almost there.' I chanted as I jogged a bit faster. 'Almo — oouf!' I slipped. My reflexes were unnecessarily slow today, so instead of breaking my fall with both hands, I used one. And it bent to the side.

'Ahhhhh.' I whined to myself. My entire bottom half stained with mud, and my left arm throbbing. I tried to push myself up, but a pained 'Ei.' left my lips.

'Oh God no.' I muttered. Don't tell me I've sprained this arm. I managed to pull myself up, with so much pain, only to fall back down. My knees were hurt as well. A tear cascaded down my face.

The soft pellets of rain became like liquid bullets, and I just sat there.

'Lady are you okay?' A man said running up to me. 'I saw you fall from inside the cafe.' He rushed out putting an open umbrella over my head. My shame was complete.

I looked up at his face and he smiled at me. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his smile could stop an army. I smiled back, but I was sure I looked stupid, as my lips tended to roll like rubber when I was embarrassed.

'Cmon let's get you out of here.' He said, putting an arm around my waist and pulling me up, while I whimpered with every move. 'You're really hurt. There's a pharmacy near by, think you can make it till we get there?' He asked as we stood under the roof of a building, shielding us from the rain.

'I don't know, my knees hurt really bad.' I replied, thinking of what next to do.

'Get on my back.' He said and I coughed. Did I hear him right ?
'Get on my back and hold the umbrella, I can take you to the pharmacy.' He repeated bending down already. I swallowed thickly and complied, wrapping my arm round his chest and holding the umbrella with my less hurt arm.

We got to the pharmacy a few minutes later and he gently set me down, and explained to the pharmacist for me, before disappearing to the back of the room while the pharmacist attended to me.

He came back with an energy drink, and set it in front of me, smiling down at me again. 'Thank you so much for your help.' I said and he nodded.

'I have to go now.' He said and I nodded, thanking him one more time before he began to leave. He was almost at the door when I called out to him.

'I didn't get your name.' I said and he smiled brightly. 'Haneul.' He said and turned back.

I couldn't understand if the intensity of my fall was messing with my vision but I could swear I saw a few white feathers poking out of the collar of his shirt. I blinked twice in confusion and opened my mouth to speak.

Immediately,  he faced me, smiled and gave a quick but noticeable wink, gesturing 'Shhh' before disappearing.

I was stunned. 'Did you, did you see that ?' I asked the pharmacist incredulously.

'See what?'
'The man that brought me in here.' I rushed out and he rose his eyebrow at me. 'What man?' He asked again dressing my wounds. 'The dark haired man, with clear skin and a nice smile.' I answered.

'Miss, you're the only person who has stepped in here in the past two hours. You limped here and told me about your accident.' He said standing up.

I looked down and thought. Then it dawned on me that Haneul meant 'Heaven'.
