Request delivery for Theoddoneout03Min Yoonbum was a mysterious boy.
The kind you knew you couldn't help but want to know about, and Alicia just couldn't help but fall for him from the very first time she saw him.
It also didn't help that he got his daily fix of coffee from the same cafe that she worked at.
The brown skinned girl couldn't help but drool internally when he walked into the cafe, briskly ordered his coffee and sat at the table furthest from any human interaction, ear phones plugged in and constantly writing in a black notebook.
Alicia often wondered what it was that he wrote in that book.
Poetry, a novel or lyrics maybe?
She didn't know if she was beginning to assume or just plain going crazy, because he often made eye contact with her.
Yoonbum would often catch her stare on him from where he was seated, and Alicia would embarrassedly look away quickly, and when she trying looking at him again minutes later, his deep and penetrative stare was still on her.
"Alicia, your boyfriend's here again." Jane, the other barista said nudging her as Yoonbum walked in, clad in all black as usual, his broad shoulders moving as he walked up to the counter.
His expression was a bit softer than usual, well he wasn't glaring at people today.
And he styled his hair today to a side part, exposing just a little bit of his forehead, and Alicia's throat went dry at his handsomeness.
"Welcome, our ever present customer!" She said, a bit too cheerfully with a pitch higher than her normal voice.
Oh dear God, what did I just do? She thought to herself.
He raised an eyebrow at her in question or confusion, either of them not being a good look.
Oh God, I need to say something else to clear this awkwardness.
"Your hair looks very nice today." She rushed out, and almost face palmed herself.
"Thanks, your smile looks even more beautiful today as well." He said back with the corner of his mouth going up slightly.
Her chest would have exploded from the turbo rate at which her heart was beating.
He didn't just call her smile beautiful, he also gave her what she could have said was the closet thing to a smile from him.
"Can I get two coffees today, one americano and one latte." He requested and she knocked quickly, getting to work.
Soon he picked up his order, and gave her that same smile-smirk (?) before going to the table that was at the edge of the shop.
Alicia was so invested in the work she was doing that she didn't notice when he walked out of the shop.
She just heard the jingle of the bells attached to the door and saw his back.
She smiled to herself, maybe she had a little crush on the ever present customer.
Someone tapped her shoulder and she looked back, it was Daniel, one of the other workers.
He handed her a coffee cup and said "I was told to give this to you." before walking away briskly.
Her brows furrowed in confusion and she held unto the cup, an ink mark on the other side of the paper cup drew her attention and she rotated the cup to read the message written on it.
