Calum closed the door for me and shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans. “So” he began as we walked down the street “I want to talk about the last time we saw each other?” he explained sighing slightly, I nodded not making eye contact with him.

“The Asylum?” I asked joking trying to make it less awkward for him, he chuckled and shook his head “No, if you want to talk about the Asylum we can?” he asked shuffling his feet on the gravel making small rocks roll away from us.

“Let’s just talk about everything” he said throwing his hands in the air to add dramatic flavour to his words, I covered my mouth and gave a small laugh. He smiled and tugged on my shirt telling me to turn the bend and enter a new street.

“Okay so-“ I began but Calum cut me off by putting a finger to my lips “I want to start first” he said as I swatted his hand away from me. “What did you think about me when you first met me?” he asked me, I thought about it for a while crossing my arms and scrunching up my face. “I thought you were rude, the way you walked in and said ‘I’m not your mate’ I was like oh…” I answered.

“Well I didn’t know you where you, I thought you were someone like Ashton” he responded, I rolled my eyes and chose not to ask what’s so bad about Ashton. “What did you think about me?” I asked as we took yet another bend and the sky grew darker.

“I just saw your hair and thought ‘emo’” he said laughing, I smiled and shoved him slightly causing more laughter to leave his mouth “My hair is natural!” I exclaimed looking up at him earning a nod and another smile. “Okay my turn to ask the questions… how come when we played poker and I beat your ass you threatened to kill me… then you saved me from those creepy siblings with the knives?” I asked grabbing hold of his hand and tugging it making him stop walking and face me.

“I’m a sore loser and you were gloating… and I thought it was the right thing to do? Save you I mean” he answered not looking at me but looking at the area around us, I followed his gaze that was locked on the park just across the road. “C’mon” he said pulling at my hand and walking me across the road into the park.

“Okay another one, how bad did your hand hurt when you punched the widow to get out of that room?” he asked wrapping an arm around my waist when we walked past a group of teenage boys, I smiled and rolled my eyes. “I didn’t feel it at first but when we were safe I started feeling it” I answered rubbing the small scar the glass had left on the outside of my hand. “Okay what about when they electrocuted you?” I asked, Calum for some reason was giving me the grand tour of this park which is actually quite large – it has swings and a slide for kids, a duck pond and a few seats around that and a few soccer fields and open space with a few picnic tables.

“Like hell it hurt so much… I don’t understand how a place like that is still running?” he said his grip getting tighter, I nodded in agreement then a thunderclap making me jump. “Oh my gosh” I said putting a hand over my heart “Oh did a little lightening scare lil Waven” he teased in a baby voice earning him a slap on the chest “it was scary okay… I told you it was going to rain” I said groaning as small droplets landed on my out stretched hand. “Afraid to get your hair wet?” he smirked and wiggled out of the jumper he was wearing and throwing it over me “Put it on it’ll keep you warm… and the hood with keep your hair dry” he said winking, I shook my head and put the jumper over my head in taking the sent that Calum usually wore, the  “teenage boy” smell as people like to call it and some cologne or something that smells nicer than the other smell that’s for sure.
