I whipped my head around my dark hair wrapping around my face as I did, I brushed it away to only be greeted by a lanky woman with pale white skin and her straight blonde hair just reaching her shoulders. “Hello Raven, Michael, Ashton, Skylar” she started her voice was like honey being poured onto a piece of toast it was that smooth and calming “I’m Kamila Hemming, just call me Kam” she continued, her hands pressed together neatly tucked behind her back and she walked further towards the table. “Hemmings?” I asked surprise that Luke had a relative here “Ah yes, you may have met my nephew Lucas, nice boy but he only looks after a few of you? Who would that be?” she asked looking from face to face “I’m one” answered Ashton  raising his arm a little of the table “same” I answered looking back at the blonde.

“Uh, if you don’t mind me saying.. Luke- I mean Doctor Hemmings told me his aunt died” I stated leaning back in my chair further “my stupid sister got herself  blown up, not my problem now I run things” she said her eyes shooting straight daggers at me. “Anyway, I need the both of you to come with me, now” she said simply then began to walk away, Ashton and shared a look of confusion then followed Kam through the Asylum. “Where do you think we’re going?” I whispered to Ashton, he shrugged and bent down slightly to talk to me “I have no idea, but Kam is known for not being the best person in the world, so where ever we’re going one of us is going to get hurt” he whispered back, my eyes went wide and I almost stopped walking all together but Ashton put a hand on my back and lightly pressed forward to keep walking.

We reached a brown door with a glass window that read ‘Hemmings’ in big black bold writing, she opened the door and  let us enter first, inside the room was a bookcase full of books next to that was a brown wooden desk and a big black office chair behind it then two small black chairs with blue carpet material for butt and back padding in front of it “take a seat” she said gesturing to the two chairs while making her way to her own. Ashton and I looked at each other as we did and planted out butts on the crappy chair “now I need to ask you both a few question, either separate or together, your choice” she said slipping on her glasses that were red and half-moon shaped “we will do it separate” said Ashton is voice with a lot of conference deeper than usual, she nodded and waved me outside I groaned and stood up walking outside and shutting the door behind me.

(Twenty-five Minutes Later )

“Miss Merrick you may step through” she called from inside, I shudder at my last name I thought I wouldn’t have to hear it again. I pushed open the door and looked around for Ashton but he wasn’t in there, I knotted my eyebrows together and took a seat continuing my search around the room. “Where is Ashton?” I asked my attention now fixed on her, she scribbled something down in a red book a matching black one sitting next to it “Mr Irwin’s whereabouts are not of your concern as of right now Raven, now for the questions” she said closing the book and placing it on top of the black one then reaching under her desk and taking out another red one and opening it to the first page.

“Age?” she asked knitting her hands together and resting them on top of the book a pen in hand “seventeen” I answered sighing she smiled and scribbled it down.

“Name?”   “Raven Lauren Merrick”

“Address? ” “154 Billboard Road, Botany Bay, Sydney”

“Parents Names?”  “Carol Anne Merrick and David Joe Merrick”

“Sibblings?” “None”

“Pets?” “German Sheppard named Cass” I named him that because I had a thing for Misha Collins when I was fifteen and obsessed with Supernatural.

“Any relatives that live near here?”  “My uncle used to, until I burned his house down” I answered smiling a small laugh left my lips which made her look up at me then back to the book and continued to scribble down my answers.
