Crestfallen

Chapter 14

April 10

(11:00 am)

“So girls,” Kevin stated as he used his “I have news for you girls” tone. “Tonight at the party I want both of you to kiss as often as you can because we have to have even the people producing this television show to believe you. If they do not believe you make sure they watch the show tonight.”

Crina rolled her eyes as she ignored her ignorant producer. He was the executive producer of the show! Who cares if they don’t kiss or not? They are just doing the kisses because Kevin told them to. Not because they necessarily wanted to kiss Lilium all night long.

She reached for Lilium’s hand beneath the table and grabbed hold of her soft, beautiful hands. She smiled when Lilium wrapped her fingers around her hand as there hands seemingly embraced in a symbol of love. Both girls continued to stare at their manager across the table listing to him complain about everything they had done wrong during filming.

“I have not seen the first episode yet girls,” He stated as if trying to defend himself. “I will see the show for the first time like you tonight. And while I am speaking I have made plans for a new music video.”

This was news for both girls, their first video in over two years. Crina couldn’t even imagine what on earth he would want the video to be of. It had to be one of their better songs on the album. Though she loved all of Crestfallen songs not all of them were her favorites.

Though she still had this feeling in her stomach the video would still have Crina and Lilium doing things that many countries would deem as child pornography yet again.

“Which song are we filming?” Lilium asked before Crina could mumble out the words.

“All the things she said,” Kevin said with a nervous, though still arrogant, face.

“What?” Crina practically shouted in the restaurant. “Are you serious? We are going to be called fakes if we film a video for that song! Are you insane Kevin?”

Kevin leaned back in his chair and seemed to count to ten before saying anything else on the issue of the music video. Of course they didn’t much care what he said, they were not going to deal with his music video. This was wrong, they had sung the song at a birthday party and now Kevin believed it to be their next About You?

“Look girls,” Kevin began. “I am going to say this, that little video of both of you singing all the things she said has gone viral all over the Internet. Your television shows producer told me this morning to expect that in episode one or two. So you girls get to find out if that is tonight or not.”

Lilium’s mouth dropped open in shock. They sang that song and now it was all over the effing Internet! What had they done? No one was filming them other than the camera crew and… Those boys had filmed them during their performance! Crina couldn’t believe the fact those idiots would dare film them without their permission. This was absolutely revolting to the fact that they had filmed them and posted it then on the Internet.

And now worse they had to make a video for All the things she said. Both of the girls are going to end up wet and in schoolgirl outfits once again. But this time they are going to not have anything censored. Plus the controversy the video will cause will be large, the band could be thought of as fake. How could Kevin actually want them to do such a thing?

“Will I ever be free?” Crina asked herself aloud.

“Good you know the lyrics to the song.” Kevin stated with a crocked smile on his face. “And by the way you will be free after the music video is done with filming. I have plans to film it within a week or two.”
