April 10
(11:30 p.m.)
Lilium listened to her parent’s conversation the whole car ride back to the hotel. They had not allowed her to tell anyone but Kevin she was leaving and more than likely never coming back. She knew this was more than likely the last time she would ever see America, and more than likely the last time she would see any place outside of Georgia.
All her father spoke of was how sick he was at the fact that Kevin had allowed his little girl to do such a thing. “I am telling you Anna,” Her father said. “He made my daughter kiss a girl and then trick her into believing that she was actually in love with another girl! Can you even imagine what that other girl was thinking, just kissing my daughter without even thinking about how wrong it was!”
Her father practically banged his head on the steering wheel of the rented car. Lilium couldn’t quite find the emotion that she had at that moment. All she could do was either cry or just try not to cry. Her life would not be what she wanted, she wanted to be a pop star with Crina and never have to deal with regret ever again. All she wanted at that moment was to be with Crina.
They would run away from everyone if they ever saw each other again. She just knew they would, no would ever come between them again after they ran to some place where no one cared.
Her father just sighed and turned the radio on as he ignored Lilium’s mother trying to convince him that Lilium can’t control her emotions. “Well, guys, after watching the premiere of Crestfallen on MTV an hour or so ago, I will be honest and say, God I would love to meet them.” The female radio announcer stated.
“Yes, and it turns out they are bisexual not full on lesbians,” The male announcer stated as he switched the song table onto Crestfallen’s unreleased version of All the things she said. “Well, here they are singing their latest chart topper in Europe, All the things she said!”
Lilium heard, she began singing Lena’s part in the song and nearly began to cry as the lyrics caught her. The whole song was about two girls that are in love but cannot get each other out of their minds. All she could think about at that moment was Crina and how if she never saw her again she would surely die. They were in love with each other and no one could ever get in their way.
(11:30 p.m.)
Crina listened to her parents begin to speak of what had occurred at the premiere. She just wanted to be with Lilium, was it really so wrong that their parent’s wouldn’t allow them? They deserved to be together, though she knew her parents were perfectly fine with her being bisexual she was still concerned that if Lilium’s parents did not approve they would never see each other again.
Crestfallen would be over just as it was starting, the past three years had been some of the best in her life. She had become best friends with a girl who could not even come close to speaking her language, but they had still managed to learn English to be true friends.
They had given each other everything yet they were still being pulled apart because of Lilium’s father being a fucking homophobic. She felt like slapping the man until he came to his senses and allowed the to be together. All she wanted was to just run away with Lilium and start their lives over again somewhere else.
Or at least where no one could find them. “Well, guys, after watching the premiere of Crestfallen on MTV an hour or so ago, I will be honest and say, God I would love to meet them.” The woman on the radio stated.
“Yes, and it turns out they are bisexual not full on lesbians,” The male announcer stated as he switched the song table onto Crestfallen’s unreleased version of All the things she said. “Well, here they are singing their latest chart topper in Europe, All the things she said!”
