April 10
(7:00 p.m)
Lilium again walked out of the fancy car that had carried herself and the other members of Crestfallen when they first showed up here an hour ago. Crina followed behind her, the two grabbed hands and gave each other a quick kiss on the cheek. Which did all the press that had decided to show up for this premiere, but of course Kevin told them to.
Kevin had told the whole world about the event, and more than likely MTV had told the entire nation of their recent television show. It was all over the commercials on television show. The commercials always showed the girls singing and then they showed them both looking rather depressed for some reason.
She walked down the red carpet into the venue, but stopped to notice the poster on the door before walking in. Crestfallen, Does the name mean more than sad? That just sounded like the whole show would be about teenagers complaining about all of they're freaking problems all of the time.
Lilium hoped that would not be what that entire show would be about. That would be terrible. The ratings on the show would be terrible if all it was about was a bunch of hormonal teenagers searching for fame.
“Crestfallen! Girls look over here!” Photographers shouted as walked into the rather odd looking club.
In the back of the room there was a large white screen and a protector above, which would more than likely project the episode when the time came. Lilium and Crina followed the carpet up until the center of the “mood lit” room. Noticing the fact that it was darker than both of the girls had thought it would have been.
“Kevin said he would be somewhere in the center.” Crina said to Lilium over a Pink Floyd song.
“Then where the hell is this guy?” She replied.
“Probably with a stripper he met,” Crina giggled.
Lilium looked over her shoulder to see a good deal of people she had no idea who they were. She recognized her parents in the back of the room talking with Crina’s mother and father about the band and the new television show. She’d speak with them later in the evening, first and for most they had to speak to Kevin, otherwise they’d be thought of as a no show.
“I see him!” Crina practically shouted as she grabbed Lilium’s hand tightly leading her towards the bar.
The whole bar area was packed to the gills with drunk producers and editors congratulating themselves on a job well done. Kevin was among them, sitting on the bar stool in the center of a large group of producers of the television show. Most of them were either drunk or soon to be drunk. Kevin held the vodka high as he toasted to the shows success.
He just wanted the show to be a success to have higher record sells. Of course, that was always the answer to getting more money; higher ratings, equal higher music sells, which in the end would lead to the group becoming and international success. They could have done this without all of this, however they were still grateful for all of this, it would make them famous. And that was the key in this game of fame.
“Kevin!” The girls yelled at their drunkard of a producer. “Kevin we are here!”
Kevin turned around with an odd smile on his face. Obviously already drunk, he’d probably been drinking for over an hour with the expression on he had on his face. He would more than likely be like this all night long, drinking and commenting on the girls.
“Good you girls are finally here!” He said with slurred words. “We can finally get this party started.”
“Sounds good,” Crina said through gritted teeth.
