Crestfallen

Chapter 24

Hey sorry this took so long, I have been very sick lately with the weather becoming so cold. I have nearly completed Chapter 25 so as soon as it is finished I will get this uploaded! :)

Crina smiled looking to the skies outside of the surprisingly very crowded airport. She had a smile planted on her face from ear to ear. Tonight she would see Lilium after six months. The television was on, nothing but music videos were playing and having the people of the airport relaxed and such.

Kevin had already scheduled their first concert together in San Francisco’s lesbian day festival on June 20th. Crina and Lilium would come out on stage together holding hands and singing any song that they wanted to. Then everyone in the world would know at least for once they were real.

For the best two months all Crina had listened to about Crestfallen was whether or not it would last with Lilium’s “departure.” Kevin had made sure that if Lilium never came back that she would start a solo career as just Crina Vlas, but that was not what she wanted.

She was nothing without Lilium, no matter what the damned critiques said. She was not going to deal with people telling her that she is better without Lilium’s sad voice. Crina would rather be happy if Crestfallen had fallen without Lilium their, this way Kevin could do nothing but just look the other way while the two girls made their runaway.

For now though, she could be with the camera crew as they got a shot for the new season of Crestfallen, the first season had gone better than many expected. Now they are renewed for three more seasons plus several holiday specials. And a few appearances on several other shows throughout the American and European networks.

Though the show had gone well, the last several episodes were just of Crina sitting around her hotel room and performing concerts by her lonesome. The episodes were mostly about how sad she was and how much she missed Lilium. Her depression was used to help increase ratings, and that was all.

Crina moved towards the front desk to again ask the woman when flight 211 from Georgia was supposed to arrive at the airport. The woman always told her soon, never a time. It was to be expected from someone who spent their nights doing nothing but telling people when their loved ones flight was going to come.

It was not fair that Lilium and her had been separated for so long. All she wanted to do was be with her. It was not fair that she had been taken away from her as quickly as she had. She had given her life to Crestfallen and as far as she cared, she and Lilium was bond together by their signatures on their contract.

She was just concerned that her friend had been captured or something. She had the excuse to panic. She just wanted to be back with her, to be able to kiss her, hold her, and touch her. And never worry about being separated ever again. She would often spend the night looking at her picture by her bed side and give it a kiss good night since she had not been their for the real thing.

“And now for music by the group Crestfallen!” The lady on the television announced as the music television host stated. “We all love them, and rumor has it that this split between Crina and Lilium is just temporary. Now we all hate rumors so lets just skip to the music. Here is the band’s staple, About You.”

Crina smiled as she watched the music video begin to play. She could see herself and Lilium on the screen kissing each other before the official song began to play. The group of people in the airport had stopped talking and had begun to watch the television.

Their music had made them famous, the television show had made them international stars. But this one song had rocketed them off to the place they were now. They were going to be the world’s leading band, all Crina needed was Lilium.
