(8:55 p.m)
“Five minutes,” Crina whispered in Lilium’s ear.
“I know!” Lilium said with a wide smile on her face. “Look at that clock, just five more minutes of Awkward and we are on the air for the first time! Gosh I am so nervous right now,”
“Would you relax,” Crina told her quietly as she stroked Lilium’s cheek. “This is going to be the break through we need to become international stars forever. Can you imagine us being bigger than Katy Perry?”
“Possibly,” Lilium replied in her usual rather negative tone of voice.
“Get a little happy Lilium! Come on we have five minutes until we are the most famous band in all of the world!” Crina said with a wide grin on her sweet child-like face.
Crina absolutely hated Lilium’s negative attitude to something that could change their lives! They were just five minutes away from having all of their dreams come true and somehow she is not happy about that? Then again the arguments that she had with her father most have thrown her off very much.
She got rid of the thoughts of Lilium for a moment, if her friend was not going to be happy at least she could be a little more positive. For all Lilium knew they could break some sort of record of having the most views for a single episode. Maybe just on the network they were on, but still they had a chance to break some sort of record.
According to Kevin they had already had more views than any other premiere in all of Europe. Which meant they were going to go back to Europe with a fan fare of thanks and awe. This was the perfect idea from the start; they would be the most well known band throughout the world. Everyone would know their names and the bands name, Crestfallen!
The crowds would cheer Crestfallen at every concert; the band would be bigger than any other group in the world all for just being themselves on television. It was the perfect plan get a television show and then become famous. Though she hated to admit it, she was grateful to Kevin for all he had done to make them become as famous as they had become before the television show had begun.
“All right,” Kevin said over a loudspeaker system throughout the club. “May I ask all the members of Crestfallen to come up on the stage for our final thanks before the show begins?”
Crina grabbed Lilium’s hand and both of them practically ran onto the stage in laughter at the call of Kevin. This meant that they would be on television for the first time in a long time that did not involve them singing or making out at concerts. This was going to either be the best night of their lives or the worst. Whatever it was they were all together and that is all that counts.
Both girls stood on stage with the rest of the band members behind them. Though the shows main focus was on the girls, the guys had still managed to get a few minutes of airtime for them… or at least that is what Kevin had said.
“Good everyone is here,” Kevin said. “All right, now I’d like to thank Crina and Lilium for auditioning in the first place to be the members of Crestfallen. I have watched them turn from intermitted singers to being expert at everything. They have become my pride and joy and are like daughters to me now.”
I’d love to see them grow up and make many more albums with me and the rest of this glorious band! Who else wants more from Crestfallen?” Kevin asked the large crowd of people who had showed up just to see them. No one else was going to steal this moment, besides Kevin, from the girls. It was theirs and no one else’s, for once in her life Crina felt free of anything.
“Aw…” The crowd sighed as Crina and Lilium were forced into a hug with Kevin.
“These girls are like family to me now, and I will always treat them as such.” Kevin said just buttering up the crowd of dozens of people who were there for Crestfallen no Kevin Denal. “I love them and now I’d like to say this to the girls before the show airs! Crina, Lilium I love you both and I love you both more than anything else in the world.”
