1.Just A Stupid Holiday With Pointless Gestures

I looked around me to see bright lights and holiday decoration lining the wall. The whole house smelt like gingerbread and cinnamon cookies. Roman was blasting Christmas music while he added more ornaments on the tree. This is insanity. The tree is already full. There isn't any room left on it. I just shook my head and continued towards my room. Patton has been in a mood like he is every year. He's even got Thomas doing all these Christmasy things. It's just not logical. Time would be better spent on getting things done. Instead there in la la land, in a holiday haze.

Arbitrary Angels...  Bewitching Bells...  Captivating Carols...  Enthralling Evergreen...  Dangerous Decorations... Fruitless Festivities... Greedy Guest... Hypnotic Holly... Lame Lights... Mesmerizing Mistletoe... Nonsensical Nutcrackers... Obnoxious Ornaments... Pointless Presents...

It's just a stupid season, with troublesome trees and worthless wonder.

"Logan!" I stopped short hearing his voice and I groaned. "Logan, I want to go over the party with you."

"No, Patton." I reached my door and already felt better at the idea of silence. Pat just kept following through. It was getting frustrating

"But Logan..."

"No Patton." His smile faded and I saw the determination set in his eyes.

"Why do you hate Christmas so much?"

"I don't hate it. I see no need for it. Now if you're done here..."

"Logan..." I saw as he started to grin mischievously and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"NO PATTON!"I repeated as I slammed my door shut. Every year he does this. Every year he makes a big deal out of Christmas like he's the big man himself. It makes no sense.

All Christmas is, is a glorified holiday for the masses to justify such big expenditures on gift and presents. All so that they can make themselves feel better for an hour, whilst also giving in to the spoiled nature of the recent generations. In the end, all Christmas provides us with is empty banks, fake smiles, and more 'I want's. "Just a stupid holiday with pointless gestures."

"Bahumbug, Scrooge."  I spun around to see this young boy sitting on the bed, a stuffed bear held tight in his hands. He had short wavy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. His freckles lined his cheeks and his smile practically stretched from ear to ear. Great, it's a mini Patton. He giggled and jumped up, standing on the bed with his arms out like he's asking for a hug. His oversized grey shirt hanging off of him.

"Who are you and why are you in my room?" He dropped arms letting the bear hit the bed and frowned.

"A small child just randomly showed up. You don't know their name or their parents and your response is 'why are you in my room'?" The kid jumped off the bed, making his way over to my desk. He looked around it, picking up an unopened letter from Roman, and walked over to stand in front of me. "Why haven't you opened it yet?" I rolled my eyes and grabbed the letter from him, placing it in the trash. "That's rude."

I turned around to find him not where he was a minute ago. I saw something out of the corner of my eye, looking down to see the kid picking the envelope out of the trash. I went to grab it only for the kid to vanish, letter and all.

"Dear Logan, I hope you're enjoying your holiday season. I would love it if you could join us for the Christmas party this year. We even managed to talk the incredible sulk into coming. I know it would make Patton very happy. The best wishes from the best of...Well, I can't repeat that, but you get the idea." I turned to see the kid sitting on the bed holding a now opened card. I grabbed the card and once again threw it in the trash. The kid just frowned and sighed.

"Who. are. you? What. do. you. what?" The kid kicked his feet out causing him to sit up and just smiled at me.

"I'm your Ghost of Christmas past, Scrooge. Or well Your Ghost of Christmas in general." I rolled my eyes and opened my door, signaling him to leave. This is probably some half-cocked plan made by Patton to get me to open up to his favorite holiday. I'm not going to stand for it. I'm not Scrooge and this is not the Christmas Carol. The kid grabbed his bear and hugged it close refusing to get off the bed. I walked over grabbing him by the back of his color and lead him out, shutting the door before he could get back in. "Fine... You can call me Chris. It's short for..."

"Don't say it." I turned around to see him once again on my bed holding on to his bear. Just who the hell is this kid. What does he want from me? He held out his hand and a sheet of paper appeared in it with a cloud of smoke.

"Let's see what we have. Oh, yes. You've made 12 no-nos. Not nice man." I was at a loss. 12 no-nos? What is he talking about and what's with the paper? The kid peaked over the page and frowned. "You threw a wad of paper at Romans eye. You went too far with Patton causing him to get upset in his own room. You fought with Thomas and made him feel like his passion for making videos was pointless and that no took him seriously. You made Patton feel left out..."

"What's your point?" He hopped off the bed, walking over to me, and tossing the paper away. He shook his head and cracked his knuckles. I would be lying if I said that didn't concern me.

"You need to make it right." He grabbed my hand and I was plunged into darkness. "Let's start with Roman. Shall we?"
