"Logan, you've heard the saying mind over matter... right?" I looked over at Patton and saw him holding his hand up in the air, a serious look on his face. "This is like that. We all have our abilities. We all affect the mind space in some way."

"I am aware of that. The crashes prove that." He started shaking his head and I gave him this confused look. "Are the crashes not... You've lost me."

"They aren't crashes. They're another's ability. Their job is to regulate and stabilize the mindspace. If one person causes to much trouble they step in to stop it." Wait so there someone out there controlling the crashes... Wait that means... SOMEONE KNOWINGLY AND PURPOSELY SENT PATTON TO THE FUCKING DARK REALM! "Logan, your angry?"

"Of course I'm angry. You just said someone else was behind the crashes. Meaning someone is out there making these decisions and you... they..." Patton grabbed my hand and suddenly I wasn't so angry. I looked over at him and his face was scrunched up like he was hurting. He let go and sat up glancing out the window.

"We all have our jobs to do. And our abilities in order to do it. You're the guardian of Thomas's memories. His, and in turn our, past, or future, and everything in between. I'm the garden of his heart. His feelings... our feelings."

"Patton as much as I love laying here with you, listening to you be your own teacher, I have someplace I have to be..." He looked over at me and saw the desperation in my eyes. "Please... I don't know what to do. And those kids of yours..."

"Kids? Plural, as in more than one?" I laughed and he rolled over on to his side. It's to easy to forget this isn't the same Patton. He hasn't even met Virgil yet and forget about Deceit. I stopped laughing and my eyes darkened. Virgils what... 4 right now. Maybe 5. They're both in that hell hole. Why did Virgil come and not Deceit? How did Roman know about Virgil's home? What... "Logan, stop!" I looked over at him in surprise and he smiled apologetically. "That's your problem right there."

"What?"

"You're all over the place. Emotionally, ironically." I shot him a dirty look and he narrowed his eyes at me. "Do you want my help or not?"

"Yes..."

"Then let me help you." I watched as Patton got up and started to pace. "You can't be emotional. You have to be calm... calculated. If your too emotional something could go wrong and next thing you know..."

"This is coming from you?" He shot this serious look and I looked down. "Sorry... I just... There's a lot I need to know."

"And you can get your answers. I'm not saying you shouldn't, I'm just saying you have to be logical about it. Think... don't feel." I threw my arms up and yelled out in frustration.

"This whole thing started because you said I WASN'T FEELING!" I could see the confusion on his face as I just laid back lost in thought. "You were right though. Roman... Virgil... Caz... They were all suffering right under my nose. No... They were suffering because of me."

"Logan..."

"And now you suffering, BECAUSE OF ME!" His eyes darkened and he ran a hand through his hair, sighing.

"'OK then. The only thing I can tell you is to breathe. Think about everything going on around you or facts that you may know." He came over and grabbed my hands, smiling as he did. "Use that brain of yours. Your smarter and stronger than any of us three, despite how many time Roman tried to disprove it."

"He's not a bad kid. He just wants to protect everyone. Even if his anger causes him issues." He shot me this look and I groaned.

"Sound like someone else we know."

"Yeah, Virgil..." I said smiling. He just looked at me confused again and I laughed. I knew he was talking about me. "Forget it, love."

"W-What?!" His eyes went wide and I just laughed seeing his flustered face. Suddenly I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and I spun around to see Roman looking at me with intense worry. I was back in the present. I already missed his smile. I really need to find him.

"Logan, your kinda scaring us." Virgil said as he sat down on the bed. I glance between the two and sighed, running a hand through my hair.

"I'm sorry. I don't mean to." I collapsed onto the floor and held my hair in my hands. "I need Patton...He... He understands. He helps... I just don't know what to do without him."

"We'll save Patton. I just know we will but..." I looked up to see Roman staring out the window, this look of horrified confusion plastered on his face. "What. is. that?" I heard the growl and my blood turned to ice. I instantly jumped up turning the light off and dragged the other two to the floor behind the bed. "Lo..."

"sHuT Up!" I gritted my teeth and pulled them in close, as the glow from their eye lit up the room. Virgil reached over grabbing Roman's had for support as I peered over the bed frame. Only to duck down again, terrified at the creature at the window. Suddenly, this blood-curdling scream ripped through the house, shaking the building to its foundation.

Virgil tensed up and I heard as the front door slammed shut. Roman went to reach for his sword but Virgil held him tighter. so tight that we were all huddled together in the room unable to move, lest he start to panic.

I heard as footsteps started running through the house until the door burst open, causing Virgil to scream. I held his mouth closed just as someone peered in. I couldn't see much with our position to the door but I could see a definite tip of a sword. They started to turn away when they spotted Roman's sword laying there on the floor. I watched as they walked in picking it off the ground.

"Hello?" My eyes widened at the sound of a female voice. When were there girls here? I felt Virgil look up and suddenly his eyes went wide. I turned to see this girl standing there in front of us, in utter shock. "Shit..." She reached out and Roman looked back at me. I nodded and he too her hand, letting her pull him up, while I helped Virgil. "Are you ok?"
