"Logan?" I looked over to see Roman sitting on Virgil's bed, this look of worry on his face. "Are you ok? You kinda zoned out." I glanced around me and shook my head.

"Yeah, I'm good Roman. I was just thinking about when I gave you that book." His eyes lit up and Virgil nearly choked.

"This was yours?" Virgil asked as he looked between the two of us. Roman started nodding his head and I just smiled.

"It was his favorite, book when he was younger too. I never saw him without it. How many times did you read it?"

"4,592, but then again, who's counting?" I pushed my glasses up and they just looked at me with shock. "I have impeccable memory..." Not really I just liked to keep tabs on all the books I had.

"Sure you do, Nerd." I shot Roman a look and Virgil opened the book, smiling.

"I did write my name in it." I said as he traced the page with his thumb. "Among other things..."

"You did? When?" Roman walked over glancing over Virgil's shoulder at the book and smiled. "Hope is the only thing stronger than fear. So don't lose it, because even when the sun goes down the stars come out? When did you write this?" They both looked over at me and I looked out the window. "Logan?"

"When you asked me for it?" He just laughed and Virgil held it tightly to his chest, a smile on his face.

"Well, it was perfect considering who got it. It was like you knew." I just shook my head as he held up the ornament that he had taken off the tree. It was this small little bulb. Typical right... Wrong. It was a glass bulb so intricate and ornate only one man could have made it...

"Logan?" I sighed and ran again through my hair, a little frustrated at this point. Patton just looked at me and I smiled. Again? What is going on, right now? "What are you doing here?"

"Well, Pat, I..." I stopped short and glanced at his desk. He had this whole set up on his desk. It was small but there was a lot of parts. Patton just shot me this concerned look. I saw this thing of glass and smiled. I was back to when he was making it. But, I was never here. I never even knew he made things with glass how am I...

"Logan?" He got this very serious look on his face and I just shook my head.

"Roman said you were doing something. He was very cryptic and confusing. I honestly didn't know if he actually knew what you were up to... but it piqued my interest." I lied through my fucking teeth. And I think he knew it too... He crossed his arms and I just laughed. "I never could lie to you, could I? You can read my damn mind."

"Not really. I just know what everyone feeling. It's not hard to guess what your thinking when I feel what's in your heart." My eyes went wide and he just smiled. "I'm guessing I never actually explained anything to you, huh?"

"You never got the chance." I looked away and his smile dropped.

"Oh..." He looked over at his desk and furrowed his eyebrows. "Would you like me to?"

"What?" He sat down at his desk and I followed suit, sitting on this couch beside him. He looked over at me and smiled, picking up this rod and placing it partway through into this metal looking thing in the corner of his room. Now that I actually look at it... where was all the clutter? Where was the bed?

"My room changes to fit whatever need I currently have. I'm sure yours does that too. You probably just haven't needed anything besides a bedroom." He said as he sat back down to his desk. He started putting on these gloves and glasses before he pulled out these wooden bricks and chisel. "This is my craft room. Or well one of them... This is the one I use for my glass and metal works. Like my ornaments."

"Hense the fire pit and weird kiln?" He nodded as he started to carve into one of the wooden blocks. He glanced up at me and smiled. "What?"

"You really are interested in what I'm doing." He said pulling up his glasses till it was in his hair.

"I've just never seen this side of you." I stated and he laughed. I could see the start of a human-ish form in the wood and I smiled. He was making the little golden angel that was inside the bulb. My thoughts went back to Virgil and I sighed. Were never going to find Patton if I keep going to the past.

"You just need to learn how to control your powers." I looked up at him and he sighed, continuing to carve the wooden block into a mold. "You never did answer me. Would you like me to go over things with you or..."

"Yes, please." I said cutting him off and running a hand through my hair, slightly frustrated. He nodded and took a deep breath. The room slowly began to change until we were sitting in his bedroom. The couch replaced with his bed... I laid back and draped an arm over my eyes making him laugh as he laid beside me. "I'm confused. I got a good grasp on certain things. Instantly actually... As if I already knew what to do..."

"You probably did." I looked over at him and he just looked up at the painted sky on his ceiling. "It was your power after all. An ability you were always meant to possess."

"Power? You make it sound like there are more." He laughed and it took everything I had not to start crying. I missed him. My Patton... His smile fell and I quickly looked away. I keep forgetting.

"Something happened? To me... in the future. Something bad?" I nodded and he sighed. " Well ok then. I guess I really do need to explain it to you then. Just in case Future me never gets the chance."
