Ch. One

Before we get too into that, you should know a little about me, seeing as we're going to be together for a bit. I live in Toronto, Ontario Canada with my dad and my twin brother, in a small two story house. My two best friend's in the whole wide universe are Mia and Lia Miliano (yes, they are twins) and we all go to Mackenzie Heights High School, which is a very prestigious school, if I do say so myself.

I am a senior and am by far the most boring person I know. I am predictable and I hate that about myself. I have boring light brown hair, boring grey eyes, boring pale skin, boring freckles and a boring average height.

You might be thinking, "If you have such a boring life, how'd you get into this whole Cheating Game fiasco?"

Well, it all started on the first day of school...

"Jacob! Give it back," I yelled as I chased my twin down the hall.

"You have to catch me first," he taunted, running faster down the stairs. I groaned and followed him to find him with his hand hovering over the sink.

He wouldn't dare, I thought.

"Jacob, don't do anything you'll regret," I said, cautiously walking up to him.

"This is what you get for interupting with me and my bimbo last night," he said and made a move to drop my phone. I shrieked and he doubled over in laughter, grabbing onto my phone before it could reach the gushing water below.

"Jacob," I squealed, attacking him. I jumped on his back and clung to his neck with one hand while reaching for my phone with the other.

"Hold on Katy Kat," he warned and began to run around, thrashing himself wildly. I squealed and held on for dear life.

"Daddy," I yelled at the top of my lungs. In no time at all, my dad ran in dressed in only his dress shirt, tie, socks and boxers.

"What happened, sweetheart," he asked looking around frantically.

"Jacob took my phone," I complained. Dad came over and plucked my phone easily from Jacob's hand and gave it back to me. I grinned and hopped off of Jacob's back. I stuck my tongue out at him and he mocked me snottily.

"Thank you Daddy," I said sweetly. He nodded and went back to his room.

"You are such a Daddy's girl," he teased, ruffling up my hair. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Hurry get ready, we have to leave soon," he reminded me as he headed into the kitchen for breakfast.

"Yea, yea, don't get your boxers in a wad," I muttered and trudged towards the stairs. Today being the first day of school and all, Jacob wanted to get to school early to be adored by his many female fans. So conceited.

I walked into my room and dreadfully looked into my closet. I honestly wasn't in the mood for school today, but I had to go. My dad didn't trust me alone in the house after the incident of '08 and since he had work, I had to go to school.

After a few minutes of silent debate, I decided to go simple in a Nirvana band tee, dark wash skinny jeans and high top nikes, the ones with the hidden wedges. I threw on a black leather jacket and grabbed my black over-the-shoulder school bag and headed downstairs.

I found Jacob in the kitchen eating Cap'n Crunch and tapping away at his phone. He was wearing camo shorts, a Guns N Roses band tee, and a pair of jordans. His deep brown hair was straight and fell into his face and grey-blue eyes. I envied my brother sometimes for that fact that his eyes were more spontaneous than mine.
