Harry's POV
"Yeah... I will," I promised her. I was worried though, what did she need to talk to me about that was so important? I knew that I got into trouble in school but she seemed much more worried to give me a lecture about that..
"Harry, you do know that every time you get into trouble for something, the social workers get the acquaintance of that, right?" she said.
"God, I completely forgot about that," I said, my lips forming the shape of an "o".
"Oh dear, you shouldn't have. They called and told me that if you get into trouble again, they'll take you away from us and that's it. You won't be able to see us again and we'll not have the opportunity to adopt you and you're already a son for us," she approached me and hugged me, wrapping her fragile arms around my waist, her head leaning on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I didn't thought of the consequences," I said, rubbing the small of her back before pulling away.
"It's okay, next time please just think through before doing anything, yeah?" she looked at me, worry etched on her face.
"Yeah, I will. Thank you for reminding me," I said, her words echoing in my mind.
'Ah, Harry. Don't put yourself in trouble ever again. Poor you.'
My subconscious said to me.
"Oh and Harry, today and tomorrow, Kyle and I won't be here. We have lots of work to do, you and Em will be staying on your own. So, the two of you will have to cook your own dinner," she paused, making her way to the door before continuing, "Don't forget what I told you," smiling, she sent me a wink and left.
"Okay, Rose." I said mostly to myself because she was already gone.
Ah Emily, I've got to go see her. I want to know what that asshole has told her, nasty things, probably. How dare he call before that night I beat him up?
I made my way to her bedroom and to my surprise, she wasn't crying and she seemed really happy. Either she's a good actress or Colton said something good for once.
"So...What's up?" I asked, walking into her bedroom and sitting myself on the little couch that was right in front of the window.
"Nothing. He dicided to let me go, he doesn't want me and he's not going to touch me anymore. Finally."
Emily's POV
I hoped that my voice didn't sound nervous or he would find out that I lied. I didn't want him to beat up anyone again. He's been a really protective 'brother' (?). I don't really know what to call him.
"I see, so, he won't see you ever again?"
"No." I lied, once again. Not that I wanted but because it had to be this way.
"Okay... Look, your mother said that we were at our own, for the day and tomorrow, so I was thinking that we could do something, like watch movies and eat pizza or anything you would like," he said.
"Hm," I hummed, "sounds perfect, we can do that today but tomorrow I can't! I already have plans," I said, my voice close to cracking just to mentioning it.
"Oh, you have plans? With who? Hanna?"
"Yeah, yeah, with Hanna," I said, lies tumbling from my mouth one at time.
"Okay then. What would you like for dinner? Pizza? I could also cook us something," he said and I relaxed due to the fact we weren't talking about anything related to Colton and just for a moment I tried to forget him.
Well, homemade food or pizza? It's not really a hard question. Everyone would choose pizza but I'm not going to lie that I wanted to cook. When I was younger, my mom, grandmother and I used to cook together all the time, so, I knew how to make some good dishes. Maybe the best choice was to cook lasagna because it's actually my favourite food.
"I'll cook."
"Well, that's new, didn't know you could cook," he laughed and raised an eyebrow, doubting on my cooking skills.
"Don't doubt me, Styles. You'll fall in love with my food." I winked at him.
"I'll help because you're probably going to end up setting this house on fire!"
"No, Harry! I don't need your help, no offense, why don't you go pick up some films from the CD shop," I said, hoping that Harry would go with my suggestion.
He could cook with me, it wouldn't be a problem but I just needed a moment alone to think of everything. If Harry stays here I'll have to continue pretending that I was happy and that Colton really told me that, when the only thing he said was bullshit.
"Well, okay but I don't really know where it is." I almost forgot that Harry has been living with us for less than a month and that he only knows where the school, our house, karaoke club and some other places are.
"I'll text you the adress."

Harry's POV
The CD shop was 10 blocks from home. It was in the center of London, where lots and lots of people go, so, it wasn't a surprise for me when I got there, and it was crowded with people. I didn't know what types of movies I should get. Every row of films had a name tag. Novels, Drama, Comedy, Thriller, Crime, Fantasy, Fiction, and many others. I headed myself to the Novels section, and picked the 'Endless Love' movie because if Em came, she would probably picked up a romance.
I ended up picking two more movies. One called 'Mama', a herror one, about two girls abandoned in a forest cabin, fostered by a unknown entity and they start calling her 'mama', wich follows them to their new home after someone discovered them and then their uncle and his wife have to face the challenge of raising their niecies but they weren't never alone, at all. The other one it's a Comedy called We're the Millers, about a pot dealer that creates a fake family as a part of his plan to smuggle weed into the U.S, from Mexico. At least that's the information that it's given about the movies.
"Look who's here," someone said, behind me and then started talking again and that's when I noticed who it was, "What are you doing here?"
