→Elaina

Countless times this exact moment had been imagined. Well, not exact, but close enough for Elaina. Countless times had she thought about his lips pressed to hers, molding together and moving in perfect sync. There was only one thing different: this was way better.

Slightly parted lips danced together, mouths wrapped around each other, both Elaina and Ashton trying to take in as much of the other as possible. Neither of them pulled away until they were out of breath.

Their foreheads held contact as they panted, eyes locked the entire time. Elaina had no idea what to say, but she knew that this moment was perfect, even better than she had imagined it.

Elaina's hand still rested on Ashton's jaw, but now both of his hands framed her face.

"I don't know what to say...I don't want to ruin this moment," Ashton whispered after a moment of silence. Elaina blushed but didn't look away. Stipples formed on her skin everywhere she made contact with Ashton: their touching knees (as she was sitting on the edge of the bathtub, him on the closed lid of the toilet), his large hands cupping her thin face.

Ashton had an effect on her that no one had ever had before.

"I don't know either." she replied honestly, breathlessly. She smiled a huge smile, dimples curving in his cheeks and hazel eyes alight.

"Do you want to talk about your letter some more? Or we can make breakfast? I don't know..." she trailed off. Ashton grinned wider, if possible, and pressed a chaste kiss to her lips.

"Breakfast sounds delightful."

Elaina padded into the kitchen, Ashton close behind. Everything in her mind swirled and raced, thoughts of Ashton and where they stand and what for breakfast and many other things.

She subconsciously dug through the cabinets, finding nothing but a loaf of bread for toast. Eggs and bacon sounded delicious as well. Luckily, she had been shopping the previous day and picked up some more eggs.

Hovering behind her, Ashton would help every once in a while, grabbing an item from the fridge or watching the frying eggs as Elaina tended to the bacon. Having Ashton around was wonderful; he made great small talk and lessened any awkwardness.

"I don't exactly know a lot about relationships, but I like where our's is headed, and I think we should give it a go." Ashton told Elaina about halfway through breakfast. She paused her chewing, then resumed and swallowed her food.

"I think I would very much like that." Elaina looked down at her food shyly. She felt Ashton's fingers under her chin. He lifted her flushed face level with his.

"How about a date? Tomorrow night? I called in sick today, but tomorrow's my day off." Ashton offered. Elaina giggled, pushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"It's a date."
