Polar was tired of being attacked by her father, the alpha. He also attacked all of her siblings when they did something wrong.

She decided she would rally her siblings and they would leave the pack and start a new one.

Standing on a huge rock in the center of the territory, she called to her pack, telling them to hurry.

Soon the whole pack was gathered around Polar. Looking down at them she could see her angry father in the back of the crowd.

"Who's tired of being attacked by the alpha?" She asked. Many said yes.

"Who's tired of starving?" She asked. All said yes.

"Well I'm tired of being attacked, and I'm tired of starving! Who will leave with me?" She asked.

The alpha glared at the pack. They all looked at the ground nervously. Not wanting to go and be attacked by the alpha.

"Anyone? No one will join me?" She gasped. "What about you Checkers? Aren't you tired of the abuse?" She asked her sister.

Checkers looked nervously at the ground not daring to acknowledge her sister, in fear that her father would attack her.

"Fine I'll go by myself." She sneered. They all watched in horror (and awe) as Polar slashed her bone shaped pack member scar.

Three red slashes now ran across her member scar saying that she no longer belonged to that pack.

Walking over to Ring, Polar nuzzled her sister one last time before leaving her pack permanently.

Days went by before she finally found food. Polar found a whole valley of compies! Fat green, delicious, compies!
