The Alpha's Pov.

Jeez. She is a good fighter. She took a good hunk outta Spot's tail. They both got good injuries on each other.

Spot is a good fighter. But damn, she is just as good if not better then him. Now that's saying something.

But the fighting wasn't going anywhere. So I put a stop to it. Besides if she killed him or vice versa we would have one less raptor in the pack.

"Now then. Let's talk about this." I bargain. "What is there to say?!" Moss growled. "She hurt my mate!"

The gray female growled. Looking at her, I could tell she was protecting something.

Taking a deep breath, I couldn't smell anything alive that she could be protecting. So what is this mysterious female protecting? Eggs maybe? No if there was eggs her mate would be nearby.

As the wind changed, I caught a scent. This scent triggered something in my instincts. The scent was intoxicating but it was old.

The scent smelled familiar. Looking at her more closely, she looked like that female me and Spot tried to fight for a few weeks ago.

"Why." "What?" I asked. "Why do you want my den?" The grey female asked us. I didn't know what to say. Walking close to us, she took a sharp breath.

"You all smell like death, that's why you want my den." She coughed. "Two of our members died. What do you expect?" Moss growled.

"You can have my den. I'll find a new one." The gray female offered. Then she took off through the brush.

Walking into the cave, we investigated every nook and cranny. We even found the grey female's nest.

It was full of soft plants and feathers. And bones? Looking at the bones, it looked like she is a good hunter. Better then I thought she is.

Now, I really gotta find a way to get her to join my pack.
