The Alpha's Pov.

Something shook me awake. Lifting my head up, I found the grey female was awake and she was looking not to happy.

"What where you thinking? Why did I wake up to find you here?!" She shrieked. "I was worried about you." I told her.

She looked shocked and panicked. Then she looked at me with a look of confusion. "Why are you really here?" She asked.

"I want to get to know you more." I told her with my best toothy grin. I did want to get to know her more. But I also wanted to court her.

If I was lucky, she would be my mate. If I wasn't lucky, I would be mate less.

So I spent the day with her. As I got to know her better, I found out her name is Polar. The more I got to know Polar the more I liked her.

Eventually I started trying to impress her. But she wasn't buying any of it. So I was back to bush one.

Polar's Pov.

Red's flirting and trying to impress me. He does impress me, but this is getting on my nerves and I don't want a mate!

"Will you join my pack?" Red pleaded. "Sure." I proclaimed. His grin widened into a toothy smirk. I hope this will end his flirtyness.

Then we started heading back to my old den. Once we got there, Spot and Moss came out looking happy.

Yuck, I could smell something rotting in the air, what were they eating? It took everything in me to not barf of the green nuisances I previously ate.

"What are you doing back?" A very grouchy Spot asked. "I joined the pack." I told them.

"Well welcome to the pack." Moss said happily. "Finally another female in the pack!" Moss cried. "Oh and I forgive you for hurting Spot."

I liked Moss already. "Let's get to know each other." I offered. She agreed. So we went deeper into the waterfall cave.

"Why do you have so many scars?" Moss inquired. "My father hated me." Her eyes widened at this.

"Don't pity me. I'm fine." I told her. We talked for a long time. We became fast friends. Then she started to ask me what I thought about Red.

"He's nice for a male. But he's a little to flirty and I don't want a mate right now." I told her, but she kept vouching for him. Saying how good he is and how I should be his mate.

Her vouching for him eventually changed my mind about having a mate so I told her I would think about accepting him. If he even would ask me. Like that would ever happen. Right?
