After her nap, Polar got up and went and ate some more of the Othnielia. As she was stuffing herself again, the raptor pack was making a plan.

They couldn't decide when and where they should confront her. So after much talk, they decided to observe her more, before they made any final decisions.

The pack headed back to their den. Once they got there, they found a horrifying sight. Guts were everywhere, blood covered the ground.

The three of them stood there is shock, the youngest members of the pack where dead! But what killed them?

Once the shock was gone, they started sniffing around. The scent of Tyrannosaurus Rex was everywhere.

The dull gray male with a black spot between his eyes, hung his head is sadness. His little brother and sister had been ripped apart.

The greenish female, looked at her newly found mate with a sad glint in her eyes. Her mate had lost almost his entire family to T-Rexes.

But, the greenish female wasn't dead yet, so he still had some family. If you count your mate as family anyway.

"We need a new den." The alpha concluded. "Yes, we will need a safer place to sleep." The greenish female replied.

"I think I know a good place." The alpha said while heading through the brush. He was heading for the waterfall Polar hid in.

But before they got inside of the cave, a battle screech was let out. Out came an angry Polar.

Getting into a fighting stance, she analyzed the three raptors that circled her.

Polar's Pov.

Blue stripe and grey spot. What the hell are they doing here. Well, they can't be here for me. Can they? No, they can't.

They want my den! So, I have two options. Run or fight. A few more scars on my hide won't hurt me.

After standing here, for who knows how long, no one moved! "Are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna fight?" Grey spot growled.

I growled back. Getting into a protective stance, in front of my den. This is my den and if they plan on taking it they're gonna have to go through me!

Narrator speaking.

Black spot then lunged forward aiming for Polar's throat. Dodging to the left, Polar then whirled around and bit him.

Latching onto his tail she yanked. A loud tearing sound filled the air. Lifting her head up, a huge chunk of tail was in her teeth.

Her maw was covered in blood, but she couldn't tell it was there. Dropping the hunk of tail, she started circling black spotted raptor once again.

"Come on Spot! You can take her." His mate cheered. She had faith in her mate. The two fought for a while longer.

Before the alpha broke the fight up. "Stop. Both of you. Why don't we all just back off and calm down." The alpha proclaimed.

Growling, Polar reluctantly backed off. She didn't like leaving a fight unfinished. But she would listen to the handsome blue striped alpha.
