Once I pulled into my mom's driveway once I shut off the engine I looked over at Jordan seeing him texting so rapidly that I was afraid he was going to crack the screen.
" hey we're here, can you help me get the kids out," I said
oh right I'll get the boys," he said then headed out of the car
'is he mad, what's going on with him.' i thought to myself as I got out of the car and grab Skylar and Taylor's car seats and followed behind Jordan who was carrying cole who was asleep and carrying Owen's car seat. I got to the door and before I could knock the door was thrown open by my mom.
"my baby is here with her new babies," she shouted
"mom, shhh they are sleeping," I said as I walked in
" did you just shh me," she said as she followed me into the living room
" uh, yeah I did, "I said kinda shocked I did that without thinking it felt weird to do that to my own mother
"anyways, this is Owen, Skylar, and Taylor and this right here is cole," I said pointing at each sleeping child
"let's get them comfortable then go in the kitchen until they wake up." my mom said so we got the kids and put them in my old bedroom where we put the babies on the bed with pillows all around them and cole on my couch that could fit me and Jordan perfectly.
once we put them down we went downstairs to the kitchen this whole time Jordan hasn't said a word, he has just been on his phone texting whoever. as we get to the kitchen I see my mom cooking dinner.
" smells good mom," I said as I sat at the counter
thanks, sweetie dinner will be ready soon." she said
"where's jay," I asked
he went on a date." she said
really I said shocked that my brother is out with a girl.
"it smells really good, I'm sorry I've been distracted," Jordan said to my mom
"it's okay dear," my mom said to him then Jordan phone started ringing
"excuse me," he said and went into the living room
what's going on with him," my mom asked
"I think it's his friends," I said
after ten minutes Jordan came back into the room and sat down, " Ari I need the car keys, I'll be back soon but I need them." he said panic lanced in his voice
" Um okay, where are you going, "I asked him
"I'll be back and if I'm not I'll call okay," he said and left out the house
