once we finished eating we decided to let cole choose a movie so he can fall asleep and then Jordan and I can watch a movie we wanted which worked out since fell asleep in the first ten minutes of despicable me.
"okay he is bed the babies are sleeping and now we are alone...we need to talk about us don't we," Jordan asks
"Yeah, we do, I need to know where we stand and I don't know anything about you anymore," I said well
we have the whole night to just talk unless you want to do other things. jordan said with a smirk on his face walking closer to me.
"well, I would like to do other things but I need to figure this out I can't be your plaything." I said
"you aren't, you mean more to me than that." he said then his phone rang
"I'll get it." I said and grab his phone as I picked it up I saw that the caller id says "my world" and I just felt dumb.
"so here's your phone, we don't need to talk I know where we stand." I said as I handed him his phone and walked into the bedroom
"wait Ari it's not what you think." he says
"it's fine I'm going to bed night." I said as a tear fell down my face but I don't know why I care so much it's not like we were dating.
"Ari," he called out as I lay in bed
"Ari come on," he said again
"if you don't want to talk then just listen, the caller id you that made it look like I have a girl waiting for me is not that. that contact is for my baby sister she's nine, I got her a little phone when the project started so she can call me while we get settled with the kids. I only have eyes for you." he said
I got up and throw open the door and looked him in the eyes as he looked back at me I see the all seriousness that what he said is the truth.
" my world" is your sister and not your secret girlfriend, I feel embarrassed now," I said and walked back to the bed with the door open so he could follow me. as I laid in the bed I saw him not walking in but not sitting on the bed.
" you can sit," I said
"Okay, and we can talk," he said as he laid down next me staring at me.
"yeah, we can talk," I said
, "so where is your head at because even though we knew each other as kids we don't know each other now." I said staring at him
"well let's get to know each other again, let's play twenty-one questions." he said with a smirk on his face
