we got home and got the kids out and put them done for a nap, as Jordan was in the bathroom I went to the kitchen and started to make some lunch. but I started thinking and I didn't even notice Jordan walk in.

"Hey, are you with me," he said while waving his hand in front of my face.

"Yeah, sorry I'm just out of it," I said

"Are you still thinking about what happened," he asked,

"yeah, do you think she's going to stay away?" I asked

"right now I really do think she might stay away, we started the process of adoption all we got to do is wait for the visit which is next week then we have to just wait for a for the judge's approval. so let's look for a daycare for the kids and finish our homework." Jordan said

"yeah your right, and I have an idea since it will be hard if we both work at the same place, I was thinking I would work in the daycare we put the kids in or at least try to, I have the experience in childcare.

"Yeah, that sounds like a great idea, that way when we come home at the end of the day we can talk about our day," Jordan said

"great so i'll call the shop and tell her I'm no longer interested in working there, I hope she understands." i told him

" well you won't know until you call, so call," he told me

I grab my phone and called the cafe it rang twice and then the manager answered," Hello it's Ariadne I'm sorry to say this but I'm no longer interested in the portion, and I wish you all the best.

" thank you for informing me," she said with her tone being disappointed and I hated letting people down but I wanted to do the best thing for me and my kids.

"okay I did that now let me call that daycare that's farther away from school but it would work better because we only have to get our homework for our other classes now that they sent that email saying to many of complained that we still had to go to school and work which works perfectly for me," I said as I was dialing the number of the daycare

"once you're done with that call, I need to talk to you," he said and left the room once Owen started crying

the phone is ringing but all I can think of is what can he need to talk about, next thing I hear a voice on the line reminding me I was on on the phone

"Hello, can you hear me," I said into the line

"yes I can hear you just find what can I help you with," the female voice said

"I was hoping to enroll my children and if by any chance you were hiring teacher assistants," I said

" yes we have some spots open and yes we need some more staff, how about you come in and fill out an application and take a tour," she said

"yes, that sounds great when should I come," I said

"is tomorrow good for you," she said

"yes it is, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name and I didn't give mine, I'm Ariadne," I said

"Oh yes I'm sorry my name is Abigail I'm the director of this center," she said after that we hanged up and I got nervous once I remembered that Jordan needed to talk to me to take my mind off it I started cooking way more food than just for lunch so I decided to make dinner. the kind my mom would make once we had big parties.

so I started cooking some rice and chicken with some macaroni with ground beef in it. I come from a Haitian household so I love my spice but I made it a little less spicy for cole.

"hey can we talk now" Jordan says as he walks in the room, I'm trying to keep myself busy but there's nothing I can do everything is either in the oven or it's on the stove almost down, so all I can do is sit and listen to what he has to say.
