Shelly

I looked at him and sighed. Maybe, it was time I told him about my past.

I clamped my hands against his shoulders as I breathed in hard. "Follow me somewhere later after you are done with the things here." I replied, pursing my lips into a thin line.

He nodded, rubbing circles on my sides as he pulled me closer to his hard chest. Oh god, I haven't noticed Ace wagging her tail in delight after ignoring me during the period when I was on heat.

Did she do that in deliberate?

"You idiot, I was suffering too." I felt her pouting as I inwardly groaned. She was so annoying. I felt his hold loosened as he approached his Beta, Uncle Gordon.

As they exchanged a few words, one of Jace's warriors came up to me and reported the number of
casualties of their men. Thank god, this stupid war had not taken away any of Jace's warriors' lives.

"But Luna Shelly, we have a problem here." He paused, glancing around as his lips quivered. Raising an eyebrow at him, I motioned for him to continue. "We might need to stay for a night in your land since most of them are injured and are unable to return back to the pack before sunset."

"Don't worry, I will make arrangements and contact your Alpha. I am sure he wouldn't mind. You are dismissed." Just as I said that, Nathaniel emerged from nowhere with an amused look on his face.

"You sounded like a real Luna, babe."

I rolled my eyes as I huffed. "Because I am a Luna." At my words, he pulled me into his arms as his breath fanned my face. "You are my Luna. Only mine." As he said this, I felt his lips crashing into mine as I hung my arms around his neck loosely.

I deepened the kiss, our lips syncing together. Our breath mingled with each other as I felt him biting my bottom lip cheekily. I let out a gasp as he slid his tongue into my mouth and explored all areas.

Our tongues fought for dominance in which I eventually won. Feeling lightheaded after a while, I clamped my hands against his shoulder blades as I broke the kiss.

Both of us began panting as we looked into each other's eyes. I was melted by the kiss, as well as his intense stare which were only meant for me.

It wasn't until when we heard a growl when we finally broke eye contact. Our heads were snapped towards the direction of Christina who held a knife in her hand.

I swore that I had noticed hatred in her eyes as they turned into shades of red in anger. "I will make you pay for this. I want you to die, Shelly Clarkson." And when she addressed me by my full name, I knew that it was serious business.

I growled back as I sent her a deathly glare. "It's no use fighting anymore, Christina. You and your pack have lost in this war." I retorted.

"No, I will fight till the end. Nathaniel will still be eventually mine." As she said this, I growled, so did Ace who really hated this woman to the core.

She approached me and started attacking me with the knife. I dodged all her attacks and retaliated back as I sent punches and kicks in her direction. I was at a disadvantage for not possessing a weapon, but a true warrior will be able to win even without one.

I swiftly threw my head back as another wave of her knife came before I raised my feet and kicked her chest hard. She stumbled backwards as her hand was clamped against her chest.

Groaning in pain, she raised her head as her eyes locked with mine in each step that she took. Her knife came towards me once more as I swiftly grabbed the blade, blood dripping from the exerted strength before I twisted the knife such that I dislocated her right arm.

Her left fist collided with my palm as I pulled her over my shoulder. She dropped to the ground with a 'thud' as I dropped the knife to the ground. I bent down to be met with a struggling Christina who pushed herself backwards, away from me.

"Listen up, Christina. I have warned you before, now you have to face your punishment." I stood up and glanced at the warriors who stood by the side.

"Send her for medical attention before sending her straight to the cells. In case she escapes, I want her cell to be guarded at all times." I ordered, making them bow as they dragged her along.

She turned back to look at me as the hatred in her eyes never disappeared.

I sighed as I felt a wet substance on my palm. Realising it was blood, I clenched my palm and approached a worried Nathaniel.

Noticing blood, his eyes widened as he stared at me. "You are hurt." Was all he said before he carried me in bridal style as he headed to the pack hospital.

Not wanting to fight with him, I stifled a yawn as I leaned back.

Noticing him wincing in pain did I realise that his left arm had been wrapped with bandage. "Your arm." I mumbled, glancing up at him to see him shaking his head at me.

"It's not important, compared to your hand." He replied softly as he pulled me closer to his body. I leaned against his hard chest as I listened to the sound of his steady heartbeats.

Very soon, I had my hand treated and I was once again in his arms as we headed back home.

When I caught sight of my baby, I coughed to grab his attention as he halted. "Put me down. We are going somewhere." He did as he was told and sat me down on my motorbike instead. I secured the straps of my helmet as I passed him one.

He wrapped his arms around my waist tightly as he let me drove. To the place where I was going to confess everything about my past, about the real reason why I didn't accept him when the first time we met in the college campus.

All of it had a reason. And I was going to spill everything out in just minutes after we arrived at our destination.

A/N _ Picture Shelly as the one behind the helmet.
