Happy Holidays! Decided to post something festive since we're nearing the end of December. Hope you enjoy!

Hanzo stares at the plant dangling before him. Its green leaves seem yo shine on the light and the white berries on it seem to wink at him. He looks past them and gives the woman behind it a wary look. "Please don't hit me."
Amélie sighs loudly and shales her head. "Lucky for you, I wasn't offering." She lowers her hand, letting the mistletoe rest at her hip. The archer can't help but follow its every move. "Then what are you offering?" he asks quizzically.
Her mouth briefly quirks into a smile, but snaps back to a frozen just as quickly. "A subliminal message." The sniper shoves the festive plant to his chest and he has no choice but to catch it. When he looks up, he catches a strange glint in Widow's eyes. "And that is...?"
She rolls her eyes, and it's hard to tell if she's pissed or not. "I'm sure you know the most basic rule for sniping." When he doesn't respond, she continues. "Never hesitate and always make the first move."
The Asian gives her a confused look and she starts to walk off. "Surely you can apply those rules to your love life as well."
A second later, it fully hits him. "God, why'd I have to tell her I was interested in the cowboy?" he thinks, watching her walk away. While she's still in earshot, the Shimada yells, "Coming from you, that's surprising."
"Oh, please," the French lady calls back over her shoulder. "We both know my love life is nonexistent."
"Tell that to the cowgirl."
Hanzo sees a bit of color rise to Amélie's cheeks and feels a surge of triumph rush through him. Without another word, he watches as she disappears around a corner. The feeling fades and he glances back down at the mistletoe in his hands. "Now, how am I supposed to do this?"
He hears a hearty chuckle in the distance and knows exactly what to do.
Tightening his jacket, he makes his way over to the bar just a street away. When he walks inside, he is overwhelmed with the scent of booze and sweat. He scans the room, looking for the southerner in question. He finally catches sight of him and hurries over, keeping the mistletoe hidden.
"McCree."
The brunet turns, and some left over snowflakes fall off his hat. "Hey, Hanzo. Fancy seein' you here."
The archer ignores his words and looks his outfit over. The dark, black clothing looked so strange on him, and the stray snowflakes sticking to his beard made him look older than he really was. Without thinking, he murmured, "My God, you look weird."
Jesse tries to stifle a laugh, but fails. "I could say the same to you, doll." His gaze flicks down and his eyes sparkle with amusement. "Are those sweatpants?"
"Nevermind that," he stutters, taking a seat next to the gunslinger. "I came to do something... Important."
The cowboy arches an eyebrow. "Important, eh?" He takes a swig of his drink. "What's so important y'had to come to me for it?"
Hanzo gnawed on his lip for a moment, nervous. Then, taking a deep breath, he pulls out the mistletoe and dangles it high above his head. "A certain action needs to be completed under this, and I'd appreciate it if you could fulfill it for - er, with me."
McCree stares at the plant in both wonder and shock. His gaze slowly travels back down and he locks eyes with the ravenet. "You... Are you... Is this...?"
Not needing to hear the rest, the Shimada nods. He wants to look away, but he can't bring himself to.
After a moment of realization, the southerner laughs softly. "Aw, darlin', ya don't need one of those to get me to kiss you," he says reaching up and plucking the mistletoe out of his hand. In one swift moment, he wraps the archer up in his arms. The other lets out a quiet squeak as their mouths collide. During the kiss, Jesse murmurs, "I'd kiss you anyday, sweetheart."
And with that, Hanzo feels himself relax into it. After that, his holiday went a lot better than he expect it to.
