Natasha's POV

I brought my tray to the assembly line and started grabbing dishes from the cafeteria lunch ladies. "Can I be honest?" Wanda asked.

"Go ahead," I said nervously.

"I'm not sure why Steve hasn't hit on you yet. I give it four minutes into sitting down at the table." Wanda smiled.

"You're ridiculous-- three minutes tops." Carol scoffed.

"Or never." I whispered jokingly, walking to the table that I saw Pepper at, assuming it was where everyone else would soon join. Sure enough, Wanda and Carol caught up with me, giggling and clearly pointing at Steve, not even trying to hide it.

"Hi." Bucky smiled, taking his feet off the chair next to him. "One of you wanna sit here?"

I grinned and sat in the seat farthest away, which was next to Steve. "Wanda, why don't you sit there?" I suggested slyly.

"Oh, um, sure I guess." She blushed, tucking her hair behind her ear. When she refused to look up from the ground, Bucky casually hung his arm around her chair and started small talk with her.

"So, Red. Enjoying your time here so far?"

"You know Tony, if you call Natasha by the color of her hair one more time, I'll punch the empty cavity where your dick should be," Carol said.

"I second that," I agreed.

"You guys are nuts," Pepper laughed. "Anyways, I'm on the student board and I have to go to a meeting, so I should actually go now," Pepper stood, taking her tray with her. "Just wanted to stop in to say hey, but I have to hurry now, there's talk of a fundraiser dance to kick the new year off!" She cheered. "Catch ya later!"

We waved good-bye and as soon as she left, Tony said, "So. Dance already, huh? Got anyone in mind, Romanoff?"

"Do you?" I asked, avoiding his question.

"Someone." He answered.

"What about you, Wanda?" I raised an eyebrow, nudging her.

"What?" She shook her head to snap out of her thoughtful haze.

"There's rumors of a back to school dance." I guided the conversation, eyeing Bucky who was play wrestling with Sam.

"Oh, fun." She said, oblivious.

I rolled my eyes and looked to Carol for help. "Barnes, Wilson." She caught the boys' attention. "You guys got anyone in mind for this dance?"

"Maybe. We'll see when the time comes. If it does happen, Rhodey's on the board as well. He told us that based off the emails over the break, it would probably happen next Friday and tickets would be sold starting this Thursday." Sam shrugged carelessly.

"Rhodey?" I asked.

"Oh, James Rhodes. He's on the volleyball team with us." Sam said.

"Good to know. Anyways, what about you, James?" I asked, popping a carrot into my mouth.

"Bucky." He corrected firmly, rolling his eyes in mock exasperation, making Wanda giggle. "And I'm not sure. Just whoever happens to be my center of attention, I suppose." He smiled devilishly.

"Boys." Carol rolled her eyes.

"Oh, yeah? I don't see you with boys dangling off your arm." Bucky challenged.

"I don't need boys, Buchanan." She tossed a grape at him. Tony immediately returned it by tossing one at me, and I let my jaw drop open in fake offense. I took a carrot and threw it at Sam's chest.
