The next morning Sami was pacing in the guest room and talking to himself quite loudly. "I can do this, Dean doesn't deserve this. No, no, no." He repeated for what seemed like forever before he stopped and shook his head quickly. His eyes traveled to the door for a few seconds. Everyone still had to be sleep at least. He went to the door and opened it before going to the living room. He peeked his head over and saw Dean on his side. Where was Roman? Sami peeked a bit more and saw that the bigger man was right behind Dean, spooning him.

Sami walked over to the pullout bed and looked down at the two. He tilted his head and scratched his beard. "Dean." No reply. "Dean!" He said in a frantic voice. Dean jolted awake and sat up quickly, looking around quickly until he looked up and saw Sami looking at him. "That guy is like..Spooning you."

Dean looked behind him and clicked his tongue. "Uh yeah well..I know he is." He smiled slightly and cleared his throat. When he looked back at Sami he saw a look he couldn't quite put into words. "What?"

"You're happy, Dean." Sami kicked his foot on the carpet a bit and bit his bottom lip slightly. "You're finally happy aren't you?"

"I guess, I guess I am, yeah." Dean nodded slowly then watched as Roman sat up, rubbing at his eyes and groaning. "Go back to sleep, Roman. I'm gonna go talk to Sami in another room." Roman stopped rubbing his eyes and laid back down with a grunt. Dean patted Roman's cheek a couple of times before he got out of bed and started a trail back to the guest room, Sami following suit.

When they got into the room Sami ran his fingers through his hair and pulled at the wild strings. "You're finally fucking happy. Who the fuck am I to fucking let them do this?" Dean watched with wide eyes as Sami started to leave slaps on his face. "Stupid, stupid, fucking stupid."

"What happened, Sami. What happened? You've been gone for so long and I thought you were dead." Dean sat on the bed and put his head into his hands.

"I am dead, Dean." Sami chuckled and started to pace again. "I'm fucking dead. I was trying to save you. See I knew you would make someone happy and that person would make you happy in return, I knew you would be happy before me. I realized I won't ever be fucking happy, the only thing that made me happy is seeing you happy."

"What?" Dean looked up with a confused face.

"Like, man. Fuck you had it rough, you had it way too rough. I just wanted you to be happy, if I did it or if someone else did it. But at the time..I felt like I wasn't the one to so I left you." Sami walked over to Dean and sat on the bed next to him. "You know I love you right man?"

Dean nodded and looked down at his bare feet. "Yeah." He answered. Sami pulled Dean in by the neck and kissed his forehead. "You didn't have to save me, I was suppose to be protecting you."

"From what?" Sami clasped his hands on Dean's shoulders and squeezed hard. "From what exactly? I heard that you owed a lot of money to those guys, heard a lot of shit. Some even said you were dead. But I didn't believe that rumor, starting to think you're goddamn immortal."

"I'm not though." Dean chuckled and put his arm around the younger man. "So, I guess I just give them money and-"

"No you're not giving those dickfucks a damn penny."

"Sami b-"

"I'm gonna handle it." Sami sighed. "Can you trust me?" Dean nodded his reply. "Then don't worry about it."

After their talk everyone was up and making breakfast together. When Sami and Dean walked out together laughing at some old joke they smiled. Randy was even over to spend some time with Seth. Roman came over to them with a cup of juice, he gave it to Sami and smiled. "You feelin' alright?"

"Yeah, I am. We talked about it." Sami took the juice and nodded a thanks before he quickly went to go find somewhere to sit down at. He was still in pain, and his leg still hurt. And on top of that he didn't want to bother his stitches he had.

Dean smiled up at Roman and put an arm around his hip. Everyone watched the action with smirks. Dean leaned in more and tilted his head. "How was your sleep?"

"It was okay." Roman shrugged and tilted his head as well. "Are you gonna give me a kiss or are you going to make me look like a fool?"

"Can't I do both?" Dean was about to laugh but Roman planted a soft kiss on his lips. Seth stopped what he was doing and smiled at the two before he started doing cat calls. Randy laughed and planted a few kisses on Seth's cheek.

When it hit night time Sami was putting on his shoes and taking the jacket Roman gave him the day before. Dean saw him and stopped him quickly. "What are you doing?"

"I'm leaving." Sami smiled and zipped up the jacket then put his hood on.

"No. You have to stay. What do you mean? Where are you gonna go?"

"I gotta ride that's gonna be here soon and we're going to handle some business then I'm leaving this state." Sami sighed when Dean's face dropped. "I have to. I have to keep you safe then I have to get the fuck out of here." There was a loud honk and Sami knew it was for him. Roman walked in on their conversation and decided not to say anything.

"Am I not going to see you anymore? Sami you know I can't handle that. I just got you back. I need you." Hearing that kind of made Roman jealous. Sami smiled and looked at Roman, nodding at him.

"You will see me again. I just need to get away for a while okay? Besides, I think someone needs you way more right now." Sami and Dean looked at Roman who was smiling slightly. "Watch out for the news okay?" Sami pulled Dean in for a hug. It lasted a while before the honk was heard again. The hug stopped and Sami said his goodbyes before doing his best to hurry out without fucking his body up even more.

A day after Sami left, Dean kept his eyes on the news channels like he was told. Roman was sitting next to him on the couch watching too. Suddenly one of the reporters hit breaking news. "There was an explosion at a warehouse that hasn't been used in over 30 years."

Dean's mouth went open in shock. "What the hell?"

"Police say the men identified in the warehouse were the man they've been trying to track down for a while now. Leaving the scene was a man and a woman holding hands."

"Holy fucking shit." Dean's eyes went wide as he leaned into the TV more.

"Only two survived." Was the last thing the reporter said.

Roman looked over to Dean with wide eyes. "Was that Sami?"

"Yeah..That was Sami." Dean looked down and smiled. "It's over."

"It's over? We can go back to my place?" Roman pulled Dean in and smiled. "He just wanted to protect you, huh?" Dean nodded closed his eyes. "Glad he did, 'cause I do need you." It was silent for a moment before Roman decided to speak up again. "When you said you were falling for me..Did you uh..Did you actually mean it?"

Dean moved from the embrace and looked Roman in the eyes. "Yeah." His voice cracked a bit. "I don't want to talk about that. That wasn't suppose to come out that fast."

"But it's okay right?" Roman asked. Dean shrugged and rubbed the back of his head. "Dean, it's okay. Hope you're not thinking we're back to friends in your head."

"Of course not.. Okay let's just not talk about this right now. Let's tell everyone what happened."
