Part 39

"You know I thought you would be mad at me.." Seth mumbled to Randy as he played with the older man's fingers. Another week passed and it was still weird with Roman being gone and all. Seth looked up into Randy's icy blue eyes and tried to smile but he failed, he was pretty fucked up about everything. "Thought you would be mad that ya know..I saved Roman or whatever."

Randy hummed and leaned back on the couch. "Why would I be mad about that? C'mere." He patted his lap and Seth smiled and crawled on top of his thighs, laying on them and looking up at him. Randy ran his fingers through the Iowan's blonde and brown hair slowly as he thought about what to say. "Look..I know you will always love Roman..Roman means a lot to you and I get it. Ya know? I have to get over it, I am a little jealous yeah. But, I would never be mad at you for saving someone's life. He needs you too.." Randy looked down at Seth's big brown eyes and smiled. "He needs you bad, Seth. He needs all of us. Hell I haven't even talked to him more than at 5 times and I know he would love my support."

Seth nodded and sighed. "I really do wish we could go see him.." Just as Seth said that Dean came from downstairs with a big smile. He had Harley in his hands, he was so protective of her. He didn't even want her doing the simple things like going up the stairs. Seth looked over to Dean and smiled when he saw the Ohioan's face. "What's up? Why are you smiling, Ambrose?"

"We can all go visit Roman today!" Harley barked and wagged her tail excitedly. "Yeah, we get to see Daddy. Are you excited, girl?" Dean put Harley down and squatted to run at her belly and behind her ears. Seth sat up with wide eyes and Dean looked to him with raised brows. "What's wrong?"

"Really? We can? Why?" Seth pushed. Randy put his hand on Seth's thigh and smiled, he could feel the excitement radiating off of him.

"Well..I got told it was because of good behavior. He's really starting to participate and show some life and I really want you all to go." Dean moved his hands away from Harley then heard her whimper. "Am I suppose to pet you all day?" Harley gave him a look that said duh. It made him laugh, he loved her so much. "I spoil you too much, Harley." He went back to petting the Husky pup then continued his conversation with Seth. "And I know he wants to see you, Seth. We talked about you and he misses you a lot."

"Yes! We all are going. You too, Ran."

Randy put his hands up in a surrendering manner. "Of course."

"Let's go tell the others!" Seth said excitedly.

Jimmy and Jey walked into the building first. They got to Trish and signed their names in the guest clipboard. Jimmy handed it to Seth who signed his name then handed it to Randy. Jimmy looked towards the door they would be walking through to see Roman, it was really loud laughing and talking coming from the other side. "Damn how many people in there?"

Trish smiled. "A lot. These days don't come often for them, it's super special and a lot of people decide to bring their whole family, even the ones they barely speak to. It's just like one big family, patient party." Jimmy nodded and looked towards Jey who was looking down with a frown. "Hey man." He nudged him and sighed. "It's okay now, alright? He's getting better. We're here to see him. Cheer up."

Jey nodded. "I was just scared for him." He looked behind him to see Dolph put the clipboard back on the desk. "Ya'll ready?" When he got nods he stepped up to the door and opened it. As soon as he opened it he saw all of these families smiling and laughing. He looked around for Roman and saw him at a table playing cards with another guy.

Roman slammed a card down and stood up. "Boom!"

"You cheated, motherfucker nah, nah! We're going to play again." Jeff shook his head then folded his arms against his chest. Roman laughed and Jeff shook his head and smiled. "At least you're smiling I guess." Roman stopped laughing but his smile stayed.
