3 weeks later

Roman was doing so good, better than good actually. He was perfect. He's been in his room alone now, Shawn stopped watching him. He's made all his progress, he slept well. He ate. He burped well. Everything basically is just going good. Only thing that's not going good is him not being with Dean. He was ready to get out of this place now. He hasn't felt this good in 20 years. 20 fucking years. Roman knew Naomi was probably glad and also mad that he was still in Rehab. He was glad that she was still waiting for the wedding but that gave her more planning time.

About a week ago Dean told Roman the Hawaii tickets were bought and there was three extra for anyone Roman wanted to take. Roman was going to take Shawn, Jeff, and believe it or not Mark as well. Currently Roman was in room eating an apple. It had to be around 11PM and he just could not go to sleep. He was too excited, thinking about all of these happy things was just more amazing. The Samoan was still taking his anti-depressants but the dose was lower now, his dose hasn't been as low as it was before. Which screamed progress more than anything.

Then there was the wedding bells he heard a few weeks ago when Dean kept rambling on about all the fun things they were going to do soon. "Damn..Marrying him? What if he shuts me out from that..Maybe that's too fast. Hmm.." Roman bit into his apple and swallowed the sweet-tangy chunk. "Maybe not?" Soft knocks were heard on the door before it opened. Shawn came in with a big tray of snacks for Roman.

"Hey there." Shawn sat on the bed and pushed the tray towards the younger man. "I knew you would be up still so I brought some more snacks for you. Even got you two chocolate-chip muffins." Shawn smiled when Roman opened the can of soda and gulped it down. "Sooo...About you telling me you hearing wedding bells..Did that just start or?"

Roman cackled and choked on his drink. "No, I'm sorry. I didn't explain that to you right. I was hearing wedding bells as I looked at Dean. I wasn't just hearing them. Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya like that. I'm not reversing back into craziness. Promise." Roman put his soda can down and smiled. "I mean, man it was weird. I think..I think I wanna marry him. Uhh..I'm bad luck so he might turn me down."

"Don't go doubting yourself Mr." Shawn wagged his finger at Roman and shook his head. "You're not bad luck."

"Kind of. All my relationships never really worked. And what if-"

"No what ifs." Shawn shook his head. "Don't think about what if, that's what's making you worry about it because now you're afraid if he will say no. I know he will say yes. When he comes to visit you..From a far I see his face. I see how much he cares. He would do anything for you. And he stayed after what happened? Come on Roman, who are you fooling? He's going to say yes to you in a heart beat. I say, you get the ring and find a spontaneous way to propose because I'm pretty sure he doesn't want the typical get down on one knee. I'm also pretty sure he doesn't know what the fuck he even wants because you're a man proposing to him."

"True.." Roman bit into his muffin and hummed. "And he does really like spontaneous things, that's like his middle name. You never know what type of shit he's going to pull off with him. This doesn't really feel like a relationship. Feels more of a friendship with really nice benefits and I like it this way. It's like, everything isn't so serious and so stressful. He's just awesome."

"Are you ready to leave? Get out of this place?"

"Hell ya. Definitely." Roman smiled brightly. "I'm healthy, I've gained, I've lost. I've cried.." Roman sighed and ran his fingers through his raven colored locks. "How early can I leave tomorrow?"

"5AM. We just need to do check ups and finally give you your medication back to have."

"Uce!" Jimmy hugged Roman tightly then pulled his cousin into the house. Shawn and Mark brought Roman's bags in from the trunk and sat them down. Roman looked at the two men and smiled brightly. Mark and Shawn cocked a brow in unison and hugged the younger man. Roman couldn't believe this was happening, he was finally out of rehab.
