Turnaround

Part 37

A full week had passed since everything went down. Dean was an emotional wreck and God only knew how Roman was doing right now. Of course like he promised he visited every day but he knew Roman was trying to be strong for him. Dean moved into the home Seth shared with Nattie, Tyson, Naomi, Jimmy, Jey, and Dolph. He was living in the full decorated basement. It was really nice. He could not go back to sleep in his own bed because he just kept replaying where it all went too far. Dean now also had a portable ring cushion. When he was cleared from the hospital his doctor gave him some cream to help everything heal correctly with his rectum.

Even though Dean was raped by Roman, he still obviously loved him. Dean read stuff about people getting raped and how they were completely messed up after that. But Dean..Dean wasn't as messed up as they were. He honestly didn't know what he was suppose to feel anymore. He was willing to forget if he got his Roman back. His Roman would never do this, he was so broken. Dean wish he could be the one to make it all better but when it's been years and years of pain, pain that was here before him..He can't do that much but sedate it for only a week then it would come back full force and bite him in the ass. Literally.

Dean also hasn't been sleeping that well. Every night, he would lose the battle of staying strong and cry in bed. A person has never effected him so strongly before and just knowing that someone could, made him lose his mind. He was in love with Roman way before he wanted to admit it. Maybe that's why it was so easy for it just to slide out his mouth after Roman took his virginity like that. Dean soon got some prescription sleeping pills since he was having such a hard time and it was showing.

He hasn't been going to work either. Jimmy and Jey didn't want him there in pain and thinking about everything that was going on. They saw Dean as family now so they still paid him even though he wasn't there. On the other hand Patricia kept calling Jimmy and Jey apologizing to them and trying to make her story right so they could understand but they called her on her bullshit. Her cheating called a rise of horrible events. Roman has never met his dad, his actual fucking dad. He's been calling his uncle dad all his life only to have it thrown back at him and hurt him.

Seth, Seth was doing bad too. Randy was comforting him about Roman, he knew how much Seth cared for Roman. Hell even Dean had a special place in Seth's heart. Seth had a really big heart, he wouldn't admit that he was really sensitive but when it really came down to it you could see it come out. Seth would bring Dean dinner downstairs everyday because the man barely left the basement. He was lost and confused.

So one day after Seth came down to the basement and watched Dean toss and turn in the bed for a while. It must of been another emotional talk with Roman at visiting hours. Seth decided to talk to everyone upstairs about getting Dean a companion. A pet or something to get Dean out and at least smiling. It was the least they could do, Dean was falling under depression and they didn't want that at all.

Roman eyes snapped open when he felt strong hands on his back. He turned over and saw Shawn standing over his bed with a slight smile. "Good morning!" Shawn's smile grew and Roman groaned and pulled the cover over his head. Shawn pulled the cover off of Roman and wagged his finger. "Come on grumpy ass. You need to wash your ass and eat some breakfast."

"I don't feel like it." Roman mumbled. He had a full beard going on and his hair wasn't neat anymore. It was frizzy and everywhere. "I don't want to be here, Shawn."

"I know.." Shawn sighed and sat on the bed and folded his hands. "I watched you cry your heart out for the last week every night and I know you're hurt. I know everything hurts. But if you start cooperating with this program it will get better. Do you hear me?" Shawn rubbed Roman's back and pouted. "I've been put on even heavier duty to watch you more because they think you're dangerous." Shawn bit his inner bottom lip slightly and hummed. "And you know, I'm perfectly fine with it. 'Cause I know you're not the person they think you are."
