[An AU where when you lose stuff it ends up in your soulmate's possession.]
Patton sighed as he walked with Roman, then pulling out of his bag. "They lost another necktie." He said then pulling out a bit bag, sticking the necktie with the rest of them, then putting them back into his bag as he shook his head. "Who loses so many neckties?!" He then giggled softly before adding. "It's kind of cute." He then sighed dreamily, imaging his soulmate to be smart since he wore neckties. "I bet he has most of my toys from when I was little," Patton mumbled softly before then adding. "And my homework from the 1st to 3rd grade..." Patton then shook his head with a smile, embarrassed as heck.
"You don't even wear ties, Patton, and you probably have more than your soulmate on account of him losing them all the time!" Roman said, knowing that Patton would find at least three ties every week of a range of different colors, dark blue being the most popular.
Patton nodded slowly. "Does your soulmate lose anything...?" He asked tilting his head as he looked at Roman curiously, a smile on his face as he waited to hear about Roman's.
"Only a bunch of earphones and a couple of black nail polish jars," Roman said as Patton snorted a bit.
"Sounds cute." He teased then laughing and shaking his head before heading to class.

"Ughhhh I lost another one..." Logan groaned to his roommate, Virgil. He looked under his bed again for his tie, only to find a mess of kids toys and pieces of paper with writing and math equations that looked like they were from someone who was in third grade. These weren't his, obviously, they were his soulmates. Logan's soulmate must have a mountain of Logan's neckties because every single time he would lose it, they would disappear completely. Virgil snorted as he saw all the toys and homework, he then grabbed one and looked over it.
"Dude, he must suck at math because look at this, he has to be younger than us!" He said showing Logan the homework. "Also his name is Patton, or as he spelt it, 'Pawwon'." He then nodded and laughed more before shaking his head again. "I wonder how this is gonna work out." He sighed, finding how different the two boys seemed to be funny. Not even sure how those two could be soulmates, whoever Patton was.
Logan hoped that his soulmate wasn't actually a third grader since that was a whole other level that he would not like to endure. He hoped that his soulmate was just someone who liked to hold onto things from past experiences and memories. He sighed, taking out a different tie from his closet, this one being dark blue with slightly lighter blue stripes.
"Well, I'm off...I'll see you this afternoon," Logan said, looking down and seeing that he had stepped on a bottle of glittery red nail polish, groaning as he wiped the sparkly red nail polish off the bottom of his shoe. "And will you please pick up your soulmates nail polish?" He said, before leaving and closing the door behind him.

Patton entered his advanced creative writing class, looking around for a seat. He then noticed one next to a man wearing a tie...
Hm...
He then took a deep breath before pulling out the bag of ties, walking over and dropping them on his desk. He then spoke with some new found confidence."I believe these are yours," Patton said with a smile, clearly amused about how his soulmate had lost a bunch of neckties over the years. Logan raised an eyebrow before he looked inside the bag, seeing that it was filled with all of the ties he had lost. He looked up at the guy who had given him the bag with wide eyes.
"I...t-thank you..." Logan said, feeling himself blush. Patton giggled before sitting next to him.
"I bet you have all my childhood stuff..." Patton said, knowing he lost a lot of stuff when he was little. "Books from school, toys, other stuff...right?"
Logan nodded, smiling a little. "Y-Yeah...I do..."
"It also means you have my stuffed puppy Pepper!" He said excitedly, always wanting to get that toy of his back, it being from his uncle Leo before he left for England, who he hadn't seen in years, though he heard he got married to a lady named Viva, he was hoping to visit him that summer.
"I...y-yes...I do...!" Logan said, brushing his hair out of his face even though he didn't really need to. "I-I could give it to you tomorrow if you like...it's on my bookshelf..." He said with a small smile. Patton giggled before kissing Logan's cheek.
"Thanks, soulmate." He hummed then paying attention to the teacher happily. Logan's cheeks turned pink as he held his hand over where Patton had kissed him, smiling at him before he looked back at the teacher, his heart jumping with delight.
