Patton smiled as he reached the house of the Berri house, knocking on it and waiting happily before hearing a 5-year-old scream and then the 19-year-old, Logan, scream back making Patton chuckle and shake his head, his eyes widening as Logan opened the door, seeing how he looked like an absolute mess. "Logan! What happened to you?" Patton asked, seeing the mud and food stains all over him, his usually neat hair a complete mess and his glasses crooked on his face.

Logan looked at Patton, a little surprised before someone jumped up on the couch and dove towards Logan, hitting him with a fake wooden sword in the back of the head. "Ow! ROMAN!" He yelled, turning back only to see that his brother had run off laughing, the small boy seeming to never ever run out of energy. Logan huffed and muttered under his breath before he pointed to where Roman had run off. "That...That happened to me." He said, frustrated at his little brother.

Patton snorted a bit and reached forward, fixing his glasses and straightening his hair a bit. "There, so you look a little normal..." He nodded and stepped in, his bag with him. "And don't you remember Logan, you promised you'd help me study for finals." He turned to the taller boy, the two being in college together. "But it seems like your a bit busy with Roman." He noticed the boy then run up to him, making Patton bend down to his level which wasn't very hard for the short 19-year-old.

"I'm more than just a little busy, Patton," Logan said, running his hand through his hair to find that Roman had in fact gotten paint in his hair, groaning a little. "Mom and dad have gone and they asked me to take care of him...Unfortunately." He said, Roman's eyes lighting up as he faced Patton. Roman lifted his pretend sword, about to hit Patton before Logan quickly snatched the sword and threw it on the couch, Roman frowning.

"Hey! No fair!" He said, Logan then bending down to Roman's level and fixing up his shirt and hair, Roman whining and struggling.

"Really, Roman, all I ask of you for once is to just stay still-" Logan got cut off as Roman blew a raspberry at him, spitting in Logan's face before he ran off again, taking his sword as he did. Logan growled, wanting to just lock up his chaotic brother in a cage until his parents came back.

Patton frowned and looked up at Logan before following Roman, finding him hidden in a cardboard fort, Patton then speaking in a fancy tone, hoping to get on Roman's good side. "Excuse me your highness but do you know why your attacking prince Logan? Has he become a beast?" He wondered what the 5-year-old would say, hoping he wouldn't be hit.

Roman poked his head out of the fort, looking up at Patton for a moment before he said loudly. "HE'S ALWAYS A BEAST!" And he went back into the fort, lining up all of his stuffed animals in rows for his army.

Patton then paused and spoke again. "Well, why is that? Was he been cursed by a dragon witch at birth?" He asked, remembering that Logan brought up dragon witch once when talking about his younger brother Roman.

"Yes! He has!" Roman said, still sorting out his stuffed animals, giving them all weapons that he had made from things he had taken from the kitchen, like wooden spoons, plates as shields, and he had even found chopsticks for jousting sticks. "He's been lying to me this whole time about being a pure prince...I found out this morning when he turned into a dragon witch an' took away my sword!" Roman said with a firm nod, Logan rolling his eyes and folding his arms as he stood beside Patton.

Patton then paused and asked. "What am I then? If you don't mind me asking, because I didn't know my best friend has been a dragon witch this whole time!" He nodded and smiled softly, clearly trying to play with the five-year-old boy.

Roman looked up from his stuffed animals, looking at Patton with raised eyebrows. He didn't come out for a moment before his head poked out and he yelled. "Then THAT MAKES YOU A TRAITOR!" He shouted, hitting Patton on the head with his sword and running out of his fort and into the kitchen, getting up on top of the table.

Patton frowned and looked down, then keeping quiet for a moment before taking his backpack and digging around, finding a bag of m&ms before speaking. "Well if I'm a traitor then that means no candy from me! And I was gonna share." He turned and looked away, waiting for Roman's reaction.

Roman stopped as he heard the rustle of Patton's bag of M&Ms, then looking up and into the living room. He quickly jumped off the table, running into the living room. "Candy?!" He said, jumping up and down and looking at Patton, clapping a little then trying to reach the bag of M&Ms, Logan looking at him, unimpressed.

Patton rolled his eyes before elbowing Logan rather hard. "Why should I share my candy with you? You'll just hit me with a sword and hurt my feelings again!" He nodded and crossed his arms, fake tears appearing in his eyes, the short 19-year-old pretty good at acting.

Roman stopped jumping up and looked at Patton before he looked down at his sword. He thought for a moment before dropping the sword, then grabbing at Patton's shirt and trying to climb up to get the bag. "Gimme gimme gimme!" He said, jumping up and almost reaching the candy, the little five-year-old determined.

"Promise not to hit me again Roman?" He asked slowly, opening his eyes and looked at Roman, a tear then rolling down his cheek as he held the bag higher than before.

Logan's eyes widened a little as he saw Patton actually crying, now feeling guilty for letting Roman hurt his feelings. Roman looked at Patton, then nodding and saying. "Promise! Promise I promise I promise! Gimme!" He said, then starting to jump for the M&Ms again.

Patton then wiped the tears and opened the bag, handing it to Roman. "There you go, don't eat them all, don't you have a little friend you wanna share with?" He asked, not noticing the guilty look on Logan's face at the moment.

Roman's eyes lit up as Patton subtly mentioned Roman's best friend, Virgil, nodding quickly and then picking up his sword and running back to his fort, already scarfing down M&Ms. Logan watched as Roman ran off, sighing a little and running a hand through his hair, absolutely exhausted from Roman.

Patton looked over at Logan, pausing before hugging him. "There there..." He mumbled, looking up at him and smiling, finally noticing how guilty Logan seemed. "Is there something wrong Lo?"

Logan looked at Patton a little before he looked down again, rubbing his arm nervously. "I...I-I'm sorry that he hit you..." He apologized quietly, looking down more and biting his lip a little.

Patton raised a brow. "Why are you sorry? That's what little kids do..." He nodded and chuckled before realizing. "Did... Did you think I was crying, Logan?" He asked, tilting his head. "Because I wasn't, I just didn't want to be hit again-" He then went on a mini-rant, seeming guilty that he had tricked Logan on accident.

Logan stopped and looked back up at Patton. "Wait...W-What?" Logan said, now feeling foolish for thinking that Patton was actually crying. He blushed embarrassed, looking down. "O-Oh..."

"Heyheyhey! My big brother De taught me how to act, and I picked up some stuff when he lied to my parents about where he was!" He nodded, Patton liking his older brother... Logan not so much taking trust to Patton's older brother.

Logan looked down, now feeling a little stupid for being so gullible to Patton's acting. He was about to speak before he heard a plate smash, his eyes widening as he heard someone scream. "SPIDERRR!!
