Chapter 39

"What is wrong with you hyung?! He's your brother! Our little brother! For god sake!" Yoongi shouted as soon as Jin open the door and closed it. Jin just stared at Yoongi who is flaming with anger at the moment. His eyes were red due to crying just now. "I'm talking to you Kim Seok Jin!" Yoongi was beyond his limit. He couldn't believe that Jin simply decided to send their brother to a mental institution. He should've ask about it with everyone. Jimin is the one who told the others about Jin's decision. "Respect me. I'm your brother. The eldest one to be exact. So I make the decision for that ungrateful boy. For everyone in this house." Jin speak with blank face. The others who was in the same room stared wide eyed at Jin who was simply went upstairs. "What a jerk. Why didn't he think about us before he make that decision?" Namjoon mumbles under his breath.

The brothers didn't communicate with each other anymore. They just simply decided to avoid each other. Miyoung already discharged from the hospital. She was indeed shocked to know that Jin sent Taehyung to a mental institution when he said he refuse to send him there in the first place. Miyoung tried to talk with Jin about it but he simply answered 'he deserved it'. Miyoung also tried to fix the boys relationship but it didn't work. Today, they were going to visit Taehyung. The car ride was silent and awkward. They just play with their phone, listening to music or just take a nap. Jin is the one who drove them to the mental institution. As they arrived, they immediately went to Taehyung's room. And their heart broke into pieces. They saw Taehyung sat at the corner of the room, his knees to his chest. His hand was chained to the bed, making him struggling to free himself from the chain. His hair was a mess, like he didn't washed them for days. He was mumbling something under his breath. Mostly to someone. The doctor who was assigned to take care of Taehyung came to greet them.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Song. I'm the one who will check on your brother." Dr. Song offered them a handshake. They take the handshake and smile softly. "Any progress on our brother?" Jungkook asked as he continued looking at the said boy in the room. "He seem to regress more into his headspace. A lot more younger. He also refuse to take his medication so there's a little problem in making any progress and we can't do any treatments on him without his medication." They look at their brother with sadness in their eyes. Except Jin. He still hold grudge on Taehyung. Somehow, he also felt guilty. "Can we visit him? Like can we go inside?" Hoseok asked as he went closer to the closed door where Taehyung was inside the room. "Of course you can." With that, Dr. Song unlocked the door and in instant they felt like crying when they can clearly heard what was Taehyung mumbling alone to himself.
"H-Hyungie no wan' me no more.. They hate TaeTae.." He kept on repeating those words like a mantra. The doctor left the room to give them some privacy. Miyoung started to walk closer to the said boy but Jin stopped her. She send a glare towards him and continue to went closer to Taehyung. "Tae? It's mommy baby.." She reach to stroke his hair. Taehyung looks up at the mention of his nickname with confused eyes.

"M-Mommy?" Taehyung called out as he reach for her hand, tears started to pool in their eyes who look at the scene in front of them. Miyoung nods and sit on the floor with him. "Tae is sowwy.. pushed mommy until hurt.. Don' mean to do that.. Hyung no love me more.. They hate TaeTae.." Taehyung went to hug her but stop abruptly because of the chain on his wrist. They could already see red mark on his wrist. "No.. its okay baby.. mommy know that it wasn't you who hurt mommy.." Miyoung try to reassure him. He shook his head and went back to the corner of the room where he sat previously. Also, he saw his brothers at the door, looking intently at him. 'Why are those meanies here? They wan' hurt Tae?' Taehyung thought to himself as he continue to look down. "Why did you refuse to take your medication? Everyone is working so hard to bring back the 'normal' Kim Taehyung but you're making it hard. You brat." Jin said with venom as he look at Taehyung with anger. But, deep inside he felt bad that he did said those words. He couldn't believe himself that he's the one who did all of this. TaeTae started to sob at those hurtful words that came out from his own brother. He suddenly went out of his headspace since TaeTae was to hurt to stay.

"Why do you care? You don't have to do all of this. You're the one who sent me to this place. Neither one of my characters said that we wanted to be sent here. So you should just back off. It's my body. I make the decision for myself." V stated as he stared at the floor. "Why are you the one who control Taehyung's body? I don't want to talk to you V. Bring Taehyung back to me." Jin said as he started to feel annoyed that it wasn't his actual brother came back from his headspace. The others just listen at the conversation as they were at the lost of words. V just chuckled darkly. "Why do you want him to come back Jin? You don't deserve him. You broke his trust. You broke your promises that you would never neglect him. That you would take care him and accept everything about him. You already broke him. You broke your own brother heart Kim Seokjin. Your Kim Taehyung." Jin groaned and grabbed his chin to stare into V's eyes. "Tell him to come back right now." V smirk. "He's gone. Never gonna come back."
