All good stories may not have a good start, but you need to read further to know what lies in there.
-AshAUTHOR'S NOTE: This chapter would mainly consists of introductions and you might see a few cars in here, but I love cars so...sorry :-p
Isabella's POV
I was so comfortable curled up like a baby in my soft midnight blue duvet, that I didn't hear the door to my room opening. "Bella, get your ass off the bed and start getting ready. We need to leave before we get late." I heard my sister Arabella shouting through my haze of sleep.
But, I want to sleep in. The academy could wait. I am not moving from the bed anytime soon.
The next moment, all I registered was a kick and a thump, before I landed on the floor rather ungracefully. I glared at my brother Alessio as I lay splayed on the floor.
Alessio Moretti is the eldest son of our family, and Arabella Moretti, is the second eldest, which meant that I was the baby of our family. My name is Isabella Moretti. But I have a sweet nickname. Bella.
Alessio loves irritating me to no end, and it did not help that I could see a mischievous aura surrounding his mind.
Yes, you heard it right. I cannot exactly read minds, but I can see the aura surrounding one's mind and tell the type of thoughts they have.
For example, Alessio had a green aura surrounding his mind, which meant he was thinking of doing something mischievous.
Similarly, red means anger, blue means sadness, yellow means happiness, purple means confusion, etc. at least that is what I have concluded from my experience ever since I was a baby.
This is one of the many things that I can do, and no one but my family and two of my best friends know about this.
"You better get rid of whatever you are thinking you could do brother, because it will do you no good". Alessio made a pouty face, but conceded none the less.
Reluctantly, I got up from the floor with a huff, freshened up and got dressed.
We reached downstairs where we saw our mother standing in the kitchen, talking to Aunt Marlee.
My mother, Liana Moretti is the Luna of our pack and my father, Alec Moretti is the Alpha of our pack.
The smell of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and fresh juice penetrated my nose. I half-ran towards my mother, pecked her cheek, grabbed a plate from the rack and started filling my plate with food.
If anything can cheer me up, then it is FOOD.
My mother chuckled at my actions. "I'll save some for you so that you can have them after school." I smiled at her gratefully after swallowing down the contents of my mouth, which was stuffed with chocolate covered pancakes.
We finished our breakfast and headed outside. On our way out, we saw the pack warriors training and the children playing around in the garden, with their mothers lounging around on the grass talking to each other.
Our pack, The Silver Shadow Pack is the second strongest pack around here. The strongest pack of all is the Crescent Moon Pack, considering it is full of pure blooded lycans and all.
Being the second strongest pack, all the warriors of our pack have to train hard. They do it in batches, where some train and the others go out for border patrol of our pack territory.
Alessio jogged up to his silver Mercedes and we all piled in. Arabella had a red AUDI of her own and I had a midnight blue Bugatti chiron.
We loved our cars, it was a gift from our parents on our birthdays, but we preferred going in one together.
