My idea of what Zion looks like in the picture above.

Isabella's POV

Damn, that felt good

I chuckled at how happy she was breaking Adriana's bones. Crystal was furious when she saw Adriana touching our mate. She wanted to rip her head off. That does not mean we were going to speak to Leo either.

Elle came towards me after the fight, a huge smile on her face. "You were amazing out there. Thankyou for keeping the promise," she said with a soft smile.

We were heading towards the gym when my second best friend, our Gamma's son, Zion came running towards us.

"Holy cow Bella! That was awesome. I mean, who knew you could kick her ass that bad! Remind me not to be on your bad side" he said, grinning.

He slung an arm over my shoulder and all three of us headed towards the gym room, that was close to the sparring ground. We practiced sword fighting and focused on improving our combat skills for about three hours.

By the time we were finished, we all were very tired. We headed back to the pack house, with Elle walking beside me and Zion literally hanging on me. He had one hand on my shoulder and the other hand around my waist and was acting like a dainty little girl.

Idiot.

We had just entered the pack house, when we heard a loud growl coming from behind us. We slowly turned around to see a furious looking Leonardo standing in the doorway. His eyes were changing back and forth between green and a bright gold. I frowned.

Elle inconspicuously tried to remove Zion's hands from around me and that was the time, when the stupid light bulb in my mind slowly flickered to life as to why Leonardo was angry.

Leo slowly stalked towards us, all the while staring at Zion's hands around my waist. Even when Elle tried pushing Zion's hands off, he just swatted her hands away and tightened his hold on me.

He was not aware of the situation we were in, seeing as his head was still down with his eyes half closed. He is such a retard sometimes, I mentally face palmed myself.

Leo came to a stop in front of me, he looked like he could tear Zion apart. But instead, he closed his eyes and when he opened them they were their normal forest green. With one last look at us, he left.

I did not want Zion getting hurt, but a selfish part of me had still hoped that he would try and protect what was his, but instead he just left.

I wanted some food in my system after our training. I had been sitting by the lake near the pack house, as I needed some quiet time. After a while, I headed towards our house and saw everyone waiting outside.

Since the members from the Cresent Moon pack had come in today, we would have to have dinner at the pack house. Dinner with someone I wanted to avoid for as long as possible.

We reached the pack house and we were immediately ushered into the dining hall. All the pack members were already present, chatting loudly, laughter echoing through the dining room.

As soon as we entered, all the pack members stood up and bowed to their Alpha. Only moments later, the chatter and laughter resumed.

I spotted Leo about 2 seats ahead from where my father's seat was at the head of the table. My mother sat to my father's left and Alessio sat to his right. Arabella sat next to mother and I was next to Alessio.

Unfortunately, that meant I was sitting next to Leo. Adriana was sitting right beside Leo, continuously blabbering about something in her high pitched voice.

I tried to ignore her and him and started filling my plate with food. I was already in a bad mood and her talking was seriously not helping.

Adriana was just so irritating that I couldn't stop myself from asking, "Do you ever shut up? I mean you can talk, annoy and irritate me all at the same time. You really are multi-talented when it comes to this." I stated, nodding along to myself.

God, this girl was going to turn me crazy soon!

Adriana was oh so angry but I couldn't care less, atleast it had shut her up.

But I guess, I spoke too soon.

"How dare you say that?! Alpha Alec, is this how you treat your guests here?" she screeched.

"First thing Adriana, I was the one who said that, so talk to me. I am very much capable of answering your questions. Second, I didn't mean to push your buttons. It was actually doubtful if you had any that were useful to me. You know, you annoy me when you are breathing really." I stared at her with an impassive face.

Adriana's voice was grating on my nerves and annoying my wolf too.

By now, Adriana was furious and the only thing holding her back was Leo, who was sitting between us.

"You bitch!!" she shrieked, getting up from her place and coming to me. She had raised her hand to strike me, when she suddenly fell to the floor, whimpering.

A root had grown out of nowhere, causing small cracks to appear on the floor and had wrapped around her torso. It was tightening around her.

Leo's claws extended and he cut the roots off from around her. But before he could pull her aside, another root wrapped around her waist. All the while, I just sat there, staring at all that was happening with a cold face.

I felt my mother's hand on my shoulder, "Calm down honey. Look at me" she said rubbing my back. Slowly, the roots around Adriana's waist started loosening and eventually fell off.

I started feeling extremely drained. I lost my appetite, so I asked my brother to take me home. Alessio picked me up and Dad, Mom and Ari walked beside us to our house.

Adriana had fainted by the time the roots had loosened their hold and I had a feeling that she might have broken a rib or two. She would heal fast because of the werewolf healing we were blessed with. Darkness soon consumed me and I was lulled into a dreamless sleep.
