Laura's POV
I got out of his car.
"Thanks so much for the ride!"
"Anytime!"
"See you tomorrow!" I said, walking towards my front door.
"Um-, Laura can-, can I ask you something?"
"Of course!"
"Would-, would you like to go to the dance with me?"
"I'd love too!"
Wait... I already had a date!!! Shit! Oh no! Crap! What have I just done!!??
"Okay! Awesome! Then see you tomorrow!"
"Yeah! Bye!" I fake smiled.
Ohhhh myyy Goood! I-, I had TWO dates for the dance!! How was that even possible!?? How could I go to a school dance with two dates without them knowing so I wouldn't hurt anyone!!?

That was a week ago.
Tonight, I have my first date with Sebastian.
The dance was still in a week.
I walk into my house.
"Vanessa!? Are you there?"
She spent a lot of time here now. I was wondering if it bothered her-, our Dad, that she was not in her house so much.
"Vanessa? I need help!"
"Laura? I'm up stairs!" I heard her yell.
Gee! Was she being... Nice?
I walked to her room. Yes, she already had her room.
"I need a sister advice of something..."
"Boys?"
"Yes."
"Take a seat." She told me, tapping on her bed.
"You are being weirdly nice..." I started. "I kind of like it." I smiled.
"Yeah," She smiled too. "I'm trying this new thing."
Wow! That was pretty cool I have to say!
"So, what's up?"
"I have boy problems."
"Yeah obviously."
"So there's this dance at school and-"
"You don't have a date." She cuts me off.
"No, but I-"
"You hate a date but you don't like him."
"Nooo! Vanessa let me finish! I have two dates! That's the problem!"
"Oh crap." She let out. "How the hell did you do that? I had problems getting one date for my school dances, and you have two!?"
"Yes." I sighted. "But it's actually a terrible thing."
"What's the problem?"
"So this nerdy kind of dude, Marcus, asked me a week and a half ago. And I accidently said yes, because I didn't want to hurt his feelings and I was scared that Sebastian, the other guy, wasn't going to ask me. Then, a few days later, he asked me. Sebastian. And I really liked him and I thought he would be perfect to be my fake boyfriend for publicity. When he finally asked me, I said yes too fast because I already had a date. And I can't really cancel on someone because I'll hurt their feelings."
