Chapter 28

Laura's POV

"Kiss me." He simply said.

My mind didn't even think for a second. I looked up to him. The only thing I was now able to do was smile. The brightest smile. Ever.

My eyes went down to his lips. They were just waiting for me. His warm breath was heavy and I could feel it. Without thinking, I quickly crashed my lips on his, feeling the warmth of his body.

The rest only felt like a dream. Our lips were connected and moving in a perfect sync. It immediately made me think of our sweet but dirty make out session after the concert. Although, this time it wasn't rough. It was the softest, sweetest, most amazing feeling. I slowly slid my hand up to his neck, holding it softly. Then, I made my way to his dirty blond hair and run my fingers slowly through it.

I felt his hands go from my waist, slowly up my arm and eventually, on my neck. He started rubbing his thumb to my cheek, and I felt like that was the most amazing feeling ever. His lips were like a drug; I couldn't get enough.

A few minutes later, I started to have difficulty to breathe from all the kissing. He slowly pulled away, leaving his hand on my neck, rubbing my cheek with his thumb. I slowly opened my eyes, wanting this moment to last forever. I looked up at him.

His eyes were still closed. Softly, he opened them and they immediately looked into mine.

Now, I couldn't help but smile. With the teeth and all. The whole thing.

"Why are you smiling?" He whispered to my lips. "We're supposed to act..."

He was totally right. This was acting. No. Actually, it wasn't. At all.

"I miss kissing you." I simply answered.

Ross' POV

She missed kissing me? I know I did miss her soft lips, but I didn't know she did. Last time I kissed her, she left and ran away, and the next day, she said it hadn't meant anything.

I couldn't let this opportunity pass me by.

"Me too." I told her.

She smiled.

"Want to do it again?" I took the risk to ask her.

As soon as she nodded, I crashed my lips on hers again, bringing her closer to me, against my body, and I grabbed her small waist.

I felt like Laura was always acting different when we were kissing. She would become more fierce and confident. She wasn't my dorky Laura anymore, she was a fearless and passionate girl.

When the song slowly faded, we pulled away, looking in each other's eyes, smiling. She slowly looked around her.

"Oh my God." She let out.

"What?"

"They're gone."

"Who?" I asked. "What are you talking about?" I was clearly still hung up on that kiss.

"The guys. They're not there!"

I looked around me. She was right, they weren't to be seen. Although, walking towards the main entrance, I think I saw Sebastian's back, recognizing him because of his dark grey tuxedo.

"Oh no." As soon as she let it out, I knew she had seen him too.

"What have I done!?" She lamented. "I-, I'm sorry. I have to apologize to him."

She escaped from my arms, and started running across the room.

"Laura! No, wait! Laur!"

She was doing it again. Leaving. Leaving me alone, hanging just after she kissed me.
