Eleven Ways The Worlds Changed Since The 1990's

1.
The music

Think of how the music has changed. We went from people like Prince (Rest his soul), who pranced around in like six inch heels with no fault. And now we have people like Shawn Mendes, no hate on him of course. But while in the ninties Prince ran around in heels we have Shawn Mendes simply playing his guitar on an amp.

2.
The Television Quality

In the ninties we had classic shows like The Simpsons. Although it's a great show that's still running today (2018), now we have things like Supernatural. We went from something as warped as Sideshow Bob chasing around Bart, whose roughly seven, because he's an enemy. To two brothers who run around hunting demons with an Angel in a trenchcoat.

(Big fan of Supernatural)

3.
Dedication

I know this is a werid thing to say has changed but it really has. In the ninties there was more dedication to things like education and people's jobs. Now we're having people like me who couldn't careless about my education because I know I'm not smart enough for it to get me anywhere.

4.
Just this quote from IFailedAllMyExams

"Everyone being so damn sensitive to fucking everything."

That's it. Explains itself.

5.
Attention span.

Let's just get out there and admit it. Our attention spans have just disappeared. We don't even listen to the people right in front of us because we're too attached to our fucking phones laying right in us.

6.
Technology.

This is something you can easily realise from films like Weird Science which Robert Downey Jr starred in before he was in all those Marvel movies.

7.
Slang.

I don't even really know what to say about this. It kind of says it. Think back to the ninties.
Fly. That was the word for hot. I don't entirely understand that because they're the same amount of letters and everything, yet slang was required. It's slightly understandable if we were to use words like this these days where we've cut back long words. But that's literally the same word.

8.
Relationships

9.
Sex

(These two link together)

You were considered to be able to with stand things if you lost your virginity to the person you'll spend your forever with. Sure that may have been true in the ninties but think. I'm pretty sure no one these days lost their virginity to the people they're married too.

10.
Duration of a relationship.

In the ninties relationships generally late quite a long time, usually because it was unlikely you'd be able to find someone else who would take you. But now, I barely see anyone who lasts any longer than three months. And if they have more than that, they're lucky, or you have really good persuasion skills.

11.
Attitude toward  the LGBTQ+

Remember all those pride marches? Where people would run down streets together?  Covered in rainbow paint? I guess that all paid off just fine because all of a sudden, it's legal in all states. Gay marriage is okay. Welcome to the 21st century because we are accepting. Most of us anyway.
