Midoriya's Pov

We were told to pack up the necessary stuff for a two-day trip. No one said where we were going nor what we'd be doing, even if we had a small idea about that. Thursday before the sunrise, we all entered the school bus and started this unexpected journey.

On our way there Aizawa-sensei explained our assignment.

"As I said before, heroes need the ability to collect information and share it secretly with their partners so that's what we'll be doing today. You'll be working in pairs, two against two on each round. To win you'll have to find an hidden box and secure it. The person who finds it first will have to tell their partner the location of the box so that the partner can grab it. In other words, the person who finds the box can't be the one grabbing it. You'll have communication equipment but to make it more difficult, your rivals will be able to hear everything you say. I don't care which method you use, as long as you succeed to get the box. Everyone can choose their partners except for the two idiots that failed on passing notes during class."

I looked at the boy sitting at the end of the bus. He tried to hide it but I still saw a little smile showing up on his face.

Next to me was Iida, and as usual he raised his hand after the professor stopped talking.

"Will you not show us the box? And if the answer is no, how are we supposed to find something we never saw? Are we allowed to hide the box if we find it before our partner shows up?"

"You won't see it before your round but don't worry, will understand when you see it. About your last question, maybe I didn't make myself clear so I'll say this one last time. The person who finds the box can't touch it, only his partner can. If someone finds and touches the box then they'll be disqualified."

"Thank you Aizawa-sensei."

This doesn't sound like a difficult exercise. The only obstacle is the communication equipment. But if we don't use it it's pretty simple. We'll just have to quickly find the box and inform the other one. But there's still one thing. Where are we going?

"One last thing." Our teacher quickly got everyone's attention. With him there's always one more thing. "There will be 10 groups, which means only 5 will win. Those ten who pass this exercise will have a free day tomorrow. The ten losers will have to do extra exercises."

There it is. The usual pressure. It wouldn't be a real exercise if there wasn't a reward and a punishment. Without realizing we had already arrived, and I didn't have a plan.

When I left the bus I came across with a very familiar place. We were brought  to a forest in a nearby town. And that town was the one where I lived for the most part of my life. Me and Kaachan used to play so much on this forest when we were younger. It brings back so many memories.

Kaachan came to me while the others went to Aizawa-sensei to tell him the groups. He stopped right next to me and stared at the fence that separated us from the forest. We jumped that fence so many times. He stopped too close to me. I could feel his arm next to mine and his hand brushing against mine. Maybe that was his intention.

"I never thought I'd come back here. Hey Deku, do you remember? All those times you followed me here. You were the clumsiest kid in the world, always tripping and falling. And you'd cry every time something happened.."

"I don't remember things like that! Well, yeah, I followed you on some occasions but only because you wouldn't tell me anything. Whether you'd come or if you wanted for me to go as well. But most times we'd come together. And I also remember that I wasn't the only one falling and getting hurt. There was this one time when you fell to the water."
