Sorry
I use it too often
I know it can be annoying
But it's an instinct
To apologize for everything
Uncertainty flows throughout my body
I feel the outcome will be
Awful
"I'm sorry"
My fingers
They hesitate
Over the dim phone screen
I'm texting
You
The demon inside
He can't get enough
I wish he would stop
The chaos in my mind it's overwhelming
My thoughts are trapped
Because if I let them out
I'll just apologize
Because I'm wrong right?
