Knocking on Dad's office door, 'Dad, it's Charlie.' I mumbled, then waited for a response but got no reply. It was weird considering Dad literally lived there but as I was about to knock again, the door opened. 'Charlie..' My Dad's voice broke as he twisted his office chair so that he could face me. He rubbed his stubble then continued, 'Yeah. You're twenty-five now, right?' I nodded my head. 'It's been five years since I last heard about a girl.' He was confusing me- why was he so interested about my love life? 'Don't you think it's time to find someone who you'll marry?' He asked, 'Well son, today is your lucky day.' He stood up grabbing a portrait from his desk then gave me the picture to look at. It was a picture of a young girl- probably around my age. She had dark brown hair, quite chubby, not pretty at all. Definitely not my type! 'Meet, Alexis!' He smiled, 'Your future wife.' 'Dad, NO!' I snapped, 'I can't marry her!' 'Why not?' He didn't seem to pleased with the sudden raise of my voice. 'Be.. because... I...' I hesitated, 'I already have a fiancee.' 'Who?! I want to meet her!' 'She's in America...' I lied, 'She can't get here.' 'Well I'm sure, you'll find a way to get her to come here...'
