*One Week Later- Mia's P.O.V*
'I'll sleep on the floor.' Charlie started placing the pillows down on the carpet but I grabbed onto his hand and shook my head, 'It's fine, I don't mind you sleeping here tonight. We've slept next to each other before- it's nothing new.' He smiled then made himself comfortable beside me. After he turned the lights out, we both awkwardly stared up at the cieling, listening carefully to both of our breathing. The awkward silence was depressing me- married couples weren't suppose to be awkward around each other. That's not what my parents taught me. 'Um...' I broke the silence, 'Would you mind showing me around town, tomorrow? It's just that, I still don't know my way around here and I'd like to just familiarize myself.' 'Oh.' He paused, 'I can't. I said I'd go to the library with Bella tomorrow to get some books for my nephew. Sorry.' 'No!' I laughed, 'Don't worry about it.' I may have seemed like I didn't care but deep down I was annoyed. I've been living in this house for a week now and I've done nothing but stayed at home whilst he goes out with Bella. Bella this, Bella that- EVERYTHING BELLA! I just feel so alone and bored. 'I'll just stay at home then. You know chillaxing, having a "great" time on my own.' I said sarcastically. 'Are you angry?!' 'NO!' I snapped, 'I just feel so alone. I have no one here- so homesick and I was hoping you'd be the guy who'd help me feel welcome.' 'Mia, you're not my responsibility. Me and you are nothing- don't expect me to devote my time towards you.' A tear started rolling down my cheek, 'Right.' I quickly got up from the bed and walked towards the door, 'Where are you going?!' He asked. 'Why should I tell you? Me and you are nothing, remember?!'
