She handed a plate to the maid before frowning at me, 'What do you mean by that?' Oh gosh! Did I really just say that out loud? 'Umm..' I hesitated, 'He told me about you and him back in the day before you got married to Nathan.' 'And?' 'Well, apparently you're his first love and you know what they say, first love never dies.' She laughed, 'Mia, don't say that. I can guarantee you that, that is just a myth. I suppose that our first love is always the most unforgettable but it doesn't necessarily mean that the heart can't learn to love someone else.' She cupped my cheeks, 'He loves you. He will always love you.' 'But how do I make him love me even more?' A faint smile appeared on her face as she placed her hands back on the table, 'Just be you. You're a great girl and before you know it, I'm sure as hell he'll love you more than he ever loved me.'
